    I definetly go with the Ultramarines. I always was fascinated on how they were portraid in romans and i played them a lot in the table top.

    the characters of the books. like the ones by graham mcneil are just cool to read and fitting the settings of the far grim future. I like the idea where the order of the ultramarines are a codex directed line of proud warriors, fighting for humanity and the emperor.

    True, I really enjoyed the books by Graham McNeil as well. But to me, the Ultramarines just don't stand out enough. In my opinion their biggest flaw is their attempted flawlessness :)

    How could these chapters fight together? Doesnt the Wolves hate the dark angels and Ultramarines hate the blood angels for being inpure?

    No, Wolves and Dark Angels just have honor duels, they don't hate each other. Don't think the Ultramarines would officially be hating on anyone who fights for the Emperor either.
