"You are the best and bravest of your Chapter, and though we may die in these mountains, we will die in service to something greater than blood, something greater than land. We fight for what we know is right. I will lead you in that fight, and all I ask is that you fight like the heroes you are!" Marneus Calgar. We know what is right. Courage and honour! Ultramarines, heroes to the last!
Its a toss up between the Wolves and the Blood Angels for me. I love the idea of implementing the unique classes of Space Wolves but I also would like to see some sub chapter armor schemes for the Blood Angles, mainly Flesh Tearers. Cant wait to see game play of the Blood Angels going up against Night Lords.
The Dark Angels, because they have some of the most badassed fluff - As Uncle Ben might have said: With great and secret shame comes great ambiguity. Also, the Lion is alive! Which other loyalist chapter could make the same claim?
@Gordul, Vulkan lives....... also the ultramarine's still have their primarch, though in stasis. i think the White Scars think theirs is alive cant remember though.
Your two favourite chapters are pretty cool, I am a huge fan myself. But I'm not sure if I understood your comment about the Dark Angels correctly. Afaik, they don't follow the Codex Astartes just so that they would have two companies whose prime job it is to hunt the Fallen, who are Chaos Heretics in all but name. Would you agree?
Guilliman is mortally wounded and both Russ and Vulkan disappeared, probably to return in the "End times". Khan was also lost in the warp. Regarding individual Chapters thinking their Primarchs are alive and will return I only point at the Imperial fists who think the same, even though all they have left of their Primarch is his fist While El'Jonson is whole and just taking nap.
@Gurdul, how are Dark Angels and Imperial Fist in the same boat? The Lion is said to be Sleeping and Dorn is dead, killed in 2 different ways, going by lexicanum. i maybe not reading your post right though.
Yeah you are misreading it. I'm talking about the Chapters who claim that their Primarch is going to come back to them at some point, even though they have nothing to base this claim on.
