actually i was going to post the first Gaunt's Ghost's omnibus, because i liked the first 3 books so much, im just using the Omnibus because i could not decide (and i could not mention the whole series as that is not one book, and an omnibus is *technically* one book)

i just did not see this thread before :p

Im thinking about getting "A Thousand Sons". Anyone here that can recommend that one and maybe give a short opinion on the quality of the book?

For the moment, the NightLords books by Aaron Dembski-Bowden are my favs.

  5. Yes, from comments on Warhammer forums it's regarded to be one of the best in the Horus Heresy series. Not the best overall, and it has a few flaws, but it's definitely among the favourites in the series.

    Night Lord is very badass
But i prefer Tome of Fire Trilogy with Salamanders :D

Besides ADB and mr Abnett (Ravenor was pretty dope), I like old Space Wolf series by William King. His style is really cool - old school novels :D (first 6 books from Gotrek & Felix series are some of my favorite).

    The Space Wolf Omnibus.
  10. The Night Lords series by far. I think Aaron Dembski-Bowden is the best writer of the Black Library, he transmits really well the atmosphere of the 41st millenium.
