Once again greetings from the Anvil and the forge! Brothers I am curious .. What .. do .. you ... EAT While painting, while driving, while watching movies .. I will be a nice little salamander and start with my own preferences. Sadly I have a soft spot for vanilla yogurt. Can easily devour a 1 liter box in about 10 minutes. ( The content not the box ) I love salty and filling stuff. Potato chips, pies, you name it I eat it .. ( Seriously I am like a tyranid sometimes ) My favorite dinner are wild boar steaks with a raisin sauce! Some boiled potatoes and maybe even some vegetables. So! What are your favorite dishes and why? KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. GUARD IT WELL. Guard your fridge for your yogurt will be mine.
hmmmm anything but seafood (not allergic to it, just dont like it).... (If I'm cooking at home its) thick slabs of it grilled almost to the point of cremation, with buttery mashed potatos and steamed mixed vegetables, or slow cooked curries, casseroles and bolognaises (and I mean slow cooked ~3days on the simmer) until all the ingrediants have reduced to a rich gloriously thick slop, as for couch food ... I cant go past mixed nuts and dried tropical fuits (commonly called "trail mix"), or crusty bread and a hunk of mature cheese breakfast ... cant go wrong with lots of crispy bacon, some fluffy scrambled eggs and some fried tomato salsa
Well... First of all, I wouldn't be from Belgium if I didn't love french fries. We pretty much invented the things. I like horse steak, salmon and different types of ragout. For people who don't know what ragout is, it is bassically meat in a stew of varying ingredients. My favorite; beef and onion stew or "stoofvlees" in Dutch. As for couch food... I prefer eating either paprika chips and/ or different types of cookies (or kinder chocolate bars) My favourite dessert would be something called Viennetta. The thing I hate about this dish is that it is only sold around Christmas and after that they dissapear into nothingness. Why?!
I like the standard North American mix of pizza, pasta, steak, ribs and on and on. My favourite food, however, is without question Korean BBQ and specifically galbi.
We have thai people married into the family. And they can cook .. oh man .. the emperor would be drooling.
