Important Announcement: I gotta drop this RP for several reasons, though mainly it was a game test anyway. (I do many game tests to figure different mechanisms out which work and which not for my future as Game Designer) Results: #1 - Turn-Based RP with only PM's works superb! Everyone has time to think about their moves, nobody goes out of character since everyone explicitly gets stated what their character knows rather than assuming what their char knows or have 'weird sensations' #2 - Players up to a tested max of 7 would be easy to handle if:- No NPCs in the group- All players together travelling as one group, probably 2 groups would also work- No splitting except temporary (i.e. different rooms in base, different ways in a dungeon, etc.)- Fantasy Setting can be applied in this Community => Non-Wh40k RP can work- Everything kept secret via PMs to GM and get summary-updates (for easier read, fast connection, etc.) #3 big downsides are:- GM must interpret a lot of what the players desire or ask and go a bit back and forth with the player to make sure the details (i.e. what is said during conversations, how it is said, etc.)- lots of creativity required to make a turn significant enough to keep a 24 hour rhythm- Expected limit of 10 players per GM and only if GM has enough time (as in has only one or two other RPs running and much freetime)- Cost generation (avoidable by creating price sheets upfront) Summary:So far my personal favorite of gameplay because it gives time for everyone to react. For player tests I took players from all world. I had players from:- US- South Africa- Europe And pretty much everyone despite timezone, weekdays or weekend was capable of posting what they intend to do, except something happened in real life but that is not restricted to this particular RP rather all online activity. (I.E. School Exams) Personal Note (not limited to V'lynn experience): It is fun to try several systems out with this RP community and is really so much of value to me, therefor I apologize for trying and failing so much upon you. Though I am glad that all my RPs in basic brought the curiosity of trying things different, because Akragth is working on some real cool stuff and I think he also does the job as GM better than I do. Nonetheless I appreciate all of you guys participating in my RPs even if stuff goes really weird sometimes (lore bend ftw!) Though if anywhere, anything would bother you to strong there is always one thing you can do as player of any game: Provide feedback to the GM / Developer. We provide you the game you want to play and therefor you must tell us what you like and what you do not. (That is why Akragth also made the poll for his 'super RP project' or whatever work title it has). Nonetheless I would like to give as final note who played what:Elenwe (Elf Air Mage) - ShadhunterLina (Elf Fire Mage) - ColapseCorvus (Dracon Fighter) - Fox58Sjorn (Human Fighter) - Ser Alex TyrerBeolrin (Undead Human Archer) - Deran VendarDmitriia Stefanescu (Vampire Human Fighter) - Enginseer MidasBa'al (Undead Elf Dark Adept) - InqZyver
