But isnt that a given? That if you switch factions, you start from scratch, you dont have all the stuff you had before. Like in PS2. I have chars in every empire, under one account.
Nothing really said from the Developers on that, but I would have expected to keep at least experience points and acquired relics / equipment (in home inventory to keep or sell) But I also do it the easy way and just go ahead and make new chars if I want to play other factions. (Since I wanna play eldar, gonna make a 2nd char as eldar) But I do not get this whole discussion perhaps it's just me.... I am like "I play one campaign COMPLETELY with my Ultramarine, and then an other with my Eldar completely, where is the issue?" But everyone else seems they want to switch every 5 minutes or something between the factions...
Deal with it lol! Why they do not switch to your faction instead? But to be honest I have too and I ignore it, what if you have ork and eldar friends and you play SM and you guys all play always at same time? One day SM, one day orks, one day eldar? yeaaaaah That is just plain stupid in my opinion, stay loyal to a faction per campaign, that's the "right" way to do!
Faction switching. Make it so that people can make multiple characters per account, but are locked to one specific race for 48 hours once they start playing it.
Selling, if you change back, or whatever other reason. You earned it hard while at an other faction so why not keep it?
Yeah but how in the hell would and Ork use Relic Space Marine Armor? It should remain on the character you unlocked it on, perhaps switching between characters in the same faction but not cross species for crying out loud.
This baffles me. Why would anyone think any of the different faction chars would be connected to each other in any other way than just being under the same account. I would have them have no connection, no shared xp, rank, level, resources, items, nothing.
