I think it's about time we allow for factions to come into conflict with themselves. This is mainly a proposed feature so that LSM can fight themselves while they wait for the few players from other factions to finish their match.

It'd probably do wonders for matchmaking but it's up to GW whether that's cool or not

However, as a permanent member of the esteemed Intergalactic Lore Nerds Commune I can't support this idea officially

I see no need for this heresy, loyalists with overpop can do PVE...

Loyalists do it all the time for reasons.

Did they do it during the Black Crusade(s)? Keep in mind Abbadon is who we're up against here

Also I find it a little strange to have a coalition of Dark Angels, Space Wolves, Ultramarines, Imperial Fists and Blood Angels to be fighting a coalition of Dark Angels, Space Wolves, Ultramarines, Imperial Fists and Blood Angels

Even Pre-Horus Heresy they would come to blows with one another for worshiping the Emperor differently. That's kinda paraphrasing, but most of their conflicts boil down to alleged heresy or straying too far from the Codex Astartes.

You can have all the civil wars you want when there's no massively obvious threat looming over everyone's heads. Except there is, because Abbadon is there with 5 traitor legions. If the Imperium decides to fight itself (again), it can do it later.

I don't know about all races. The humans probably had some civil wars already. Orks are most likely krumpin' eachother when they can't zog someone else, like in fantasy. Though I doubt Eldar do have any because... that would basically mean self-extinction, so... unless some grot decides to go wild and attack his kin for whatever stupid reason.
  9. Loyalist already do a good enough job of shooting their friendly melee players(who are engaged vs enemy melees)in the back and killing them. I spend some matches just hunting down those habitual, no trigger discipline having, POS, repeat offender, lazy f..k TKers and return the favor over and over. Does that count?
