The raptor looked at Cryos: "Well, I'm not wearing the power armour so my opinion simply MUST be wrong, but a tactical could take their fire for a moment to allow us to sneak in."

"And alert the entire base?" Gylthran asked mocking. "No we need another way in.... Perhaps we can place a grenade or something in the woods, make them go and investigate while we walk in through a side entrance." The Scout went down on one knee and drew a map with his finger in the sand, making markings for the entrances they could see and the wooden area they were hiding in.

OOC: I really should make a map in paint.... <.< Anywho ; basically it is an egg-shaped wall with one main entrance and a side entrance from the angle you are looking at. the Side entrance is just big enough for a tactical Astartes, the main entrance would be big enough for the Rhino to drive through.

"The moment something goes awry I would be willing to bet our target will go into overwatch and be that much more a pain to deal with. Unless we can make it look like a natural occurrence then I wouldn't bet on anything. I say we advance under the watch of one of our snipers and infiltrate through the side entrance. Once in he can guide us away from other patrols and such. "

"What about using the Rhino's smoke launcher as cover? Perhaps they may think it is just fog?" He suggested after seeing that the fortress and the people seemed pretty primitive, also so their intel suggested. They were after all stupid enough to believe their leader was a god of some sort.

"A strange mist rolling in could be mistaken as a gift of their masters. " Mayron nodded, relieved a plan was coming together and that they wouldn't be held up long. "Though if it's all on one side that'll be rather obvious, we'll need the driver to make a full pass around with it. "

"Or simply have an entire barrage fired on one side, but in different distances to each other... Like starting in the woods and make it come closer slowly to the entrance." Was counter-suggested.

"That works as well. Though a mysterious mist creeping in from one side may come across as suspicious or an omen that will attract more of them. That could actually work in our favor if we set it off elsewhere and approach from this direction. " Shrugging Mayron turned his gaze back to the walls a moment.

"We could always set fire to the woods" as he spoke cryos put his chainsword on his waist and pulled out his combat knife "im just a very combat oriented person"

The Scout nodded slow, thinking of what their reactions may be. "Definitely it will get their attention."

"But it won't hold them off long enough I fear, they know fire... but a fog out of nowhere could be mistaken as some sort of sorcery to them." Gylthran added

"I say we go with the fog and get moving. We don't have forever and we don't know the capabilities of our target. If he's a sorcerer then he'll probably be able to tell the mist isn't anything natural or otherwise. Judging by this planets climate it's not exactly prone to random brush fires either. "
