Things for executions (not to huge on WH40K Lore)

Leaving to Devs to see where they want to put these in game

All of the following can be canceled by enemy melee attacks and the boon will not take effect if done so. (including being run over by vehicles.)

Tribute to Khorn: Executions give you 100% Damage Reduction during the execution, and give a flat amount of (over)armor (50/100) that expires in 10 seconds if not used.

Tribute to Nurgle: Execution DMG reduction 100%, and small health regen for 10 seconds after

Tribute to Slaanesh: Execution 100% DMG Reduction, nearby allies become immune to Suppression for 5-10 seconds.

Tribute to Tzeentch: Execution 100% DMG Reduction, choose one
    1. Gain 500-200 warp charges (For Sorcerer)
    2. Gives bonus points towards summoning next daemon (for whoever)
    3. Spells get 5%~ bonus effectiveness for next 7-10 seconds (For Sorcerer)

Tribute/Tithe to the Emperor (of Man): Execution DMG Reduction 100%, (to lazy to name heres some ideas)
    1. gain bonus Damage on the next melee attack
    2. any of the above Tributes
    3. bonus exp

The following will not be cancel able unless run over by a vehicle. (MAYBE add it so the executioners HP Cannot drop below 1)

The Unending Slaughter: become immune to any CC effects during execution, boon same as Khorn

Undying Decay: CC immunity during execution, boon same as above.

Unyielding Song: You catch the drift

    Unstoppable Plan: ^^^

    Unbreakable Faith: ^^^

Executions are about taking risks. Immunity to damage will break them.

interesting ideas. How would you pick which boon to do though?

I feel DMG reduction 100% shouldn't be that high, as it basically makes executions a sure success and nulls damaged from range weapons, which are often the weapons used to stop an execution in the first place. Executions are meant to be risky specifically because you can be interrupted at any time and by anything.

The Boon for Khorne would probably be better in giving a melee damage boost as that syncs more with the lore.

The Boon of Nurgle seems kinda redundant with the Sorc, you could probably give them a resistance to damage post execution for 10-20sec instead.

I like the boon of Slaneesh, but I feel a 10sec duration of the effects will wear off before you even get into a situation where you are being suppressed. Maybe extending the duration of it?

Boon of Tzeentch I think option 1 is the most reasonable, maybe dropping the amount energy rewarded for Sorc and for non sorc units they could get a point increase in exp from the execution.

With the others I am assuming you need to amass several executions in one match/life. I think they should give you serious reward, so rather than say increased melee damage for 10secs you get it for one full life, and during that life, any points you score, via kills, caps etc... give you additional exp onto of the base exp value. So say 100exp for the kill plus 50exp from the boon.

sounds like someone doesnt like getting killed while they are grand-standing and preforming an execute

I love executions, because violence against loyalists.

But these abilities seem OP. Maybe only at like your tenth or 20th execution this occurs.
