Oh for the love of Khorne... Tornadium, it's a lousy ass banner, that's really all it is! The biggest difference, is the amount of points you get to purchase stuff in the Rogue Trader. What is you exact problem here? Do you regret showing some faith in EC and spending 120$, so now you just want a smaller pack because the stuff you get is the same? If so, you are a downright disappointment in my eyes... This is just as much about supporting the developement as it's about preparing yourself for launch. And maybe, just maybe, if people don't complain and whine too much, they may add some more flair to the packs in the future... we can't know for sure, but in all honesty, instead of going all "I could have spend only 40 bucks and got the same as the others" then maybe you should just wait and see what happens?
My point is that it's bad business practice to advertise something as exclusive to a package then change that because someone writes you a nice letter. Again, It's the principle of it. It's a bit of a cheap shot in the gut and it's bad business practice.

The EC community is getting the "drone" reputation. People throw money and then; "now i want this now i want that". The people outside of this forum are looking away from the game: because they fear that after the release the non founder are second class citizen. we can know some generic number about the founder program? (like on the star citizen site for example: total number of founder today X number of new crusaders etc etc) it's not a donation!! it's a preorder! i found this image on the internet (i don't made it) and fit perfecly with the "seduction" wow! so there is a small % that the engine will change? creative jounalism? it's more journalism on drugs. how is possibile? yes it's a total of 80$ for 20 people! the referral sistem is very good! (we can know what the 200 referral and similar reward are?) sigh i see what you did there.
Okay. According to the Rogue Trader a banner costs 10.000 RTP, or 10$ That's what the other packs have gotten... a 10$ bonus item because they asked nicely. That's really all there is to it. Do you feel cheated because they got the same 10$ item you did? I could understand you if it was something significant, like, all packs getting the Pre-Heresy stuff (because face it, if you spend the money on a heresy pack, you deserve the extra stuff, not to mention the Xenos pack) What I am trying to say is that while it may seem like a bad business practice, it really is a minor, insignificant addition to the lower tier packs. It's not going to give them an edge... and as I said, who knows if they won't add some other 10$ worth item to the Captain and above packs? So in all honesty, while I understand that it's the principle of it... it's just not worth complaining about it. At all. A way everyone could get something, while still favoring the higher tier packs, was to just create 1 banner for each pack and then include the lesser ones in the superior packs. So Warriors will only get the Warrior banner, while Captain would get Warrior, Sergeant AND Captain. And ofcourse Xeno would get each banner. Make it a visual in-game extention of which pack you purchased. Because I do sympathize with Warrior/Sergeant pack if they didn't atleast get some kind of goodies too.
That's actually not "all there is to it". Why not give them a different item instead of the item that we paid for? Just because it's a small item doesn't make it any less significant. We paid more, Why are we not being given a reward when they are? It really does not make for good business practice or community relation.
So much negativity toward someone who's going on a short vacation. You know, aside from the fact that opinions are like assholes, and you obviously have a big one. We should show Mr. Caron some appreciation for all the hard work he's done so far. Let him enjoy his vacation and let us be happy that things are progressing with EC. I'm sure there are more appropriate ways to address your points than to start ranting, complaining, and arguing.
i don't like that these "exclusive bonus item" are in fact only an "unlock" to pay the item. it's like when i buy an eletrical product i open it and there is no batteries.
"WAAAAHHHHH I don't know what they're going to to but I don't like it!" Really, Tornadium tell me where Miguel said that warriors will get a banner. And I mean a direct quote from his post, not your "thoughts" on the matter. Guilliman asked for "a banner", but Miguel only said that they "will address this issue" of "not showing FAIRNESS with our Warrior founders". He did not say how the issue will be addressed, so I'd ask you to refrain from being a baby until you know what's going to happen. It might be that warriors get everything (haha, right, as if it would ever happen), or it might be that warriors get the sargeant emblem, sargeants get the captain banner and captains get something completely new.
