I agree! I hope its not in the form of walls of text that you need to read after interacting with an NPC.... I hope they take a leaf out of SWTOR's book and give the NPC's voices! so we can interact with them better.
Imperial worlds under siege by Chaos, who have been manipulated into doing so for some sneaky master Eldar plan. And the Orkz are just there for the fighting. This or one other variant on it... If you want intricate stories go read a book. But cynism and sarcasm aside I am actually excited about Graham being onboard!
I believe the NPC interaction from what the devs have said will be limited, which means it wouldn't cost them too much or be very time consuming to have audio on the small amount of NPCs there are even if there are any at all.
Heck, we would probably just be talking to servitors anyways for things. So it would make sense if they were not talkative.
Oh, it's all going to be the same again. Warring Orks, defending Space Marines, sabotaging Chaos Legionnaires and plotting Eldars. Imperium will try to break the Adeptus Mechanicus into researching the Warp-blocking monopliths, Chaos will try to destroy them to allow Warp open up in more places, Orks will just plunder what they see and the Eldar will try to find out how to close the Eye of Terror with their help. When do you remember anyone of them doing anything serious, except Chaos launching 13th Black Crusade?
I love Graham McNeill's work. Now I am curios on.... Which direction the story and such even will go, etc.
