Interesting info, could they perhaps have gone for Square cause the community clearly stated they dont wanna see $=€ bullcrap? I do recall both Houman and Miguel saying they will do everything in their power to not make that happen, and i particularly recall Miguel saying that he would like to allow people to pay based on where they live. I can really see this being a reason, they have shown that they care about us numerous times, and i dont really recall many publishers bothering with destroying the stupidity that is $=€.
I don't even know why Square is doing this they're already low on cash and might chapter 11 in five years and they already have a mmo out there why spend more on another?
And EA doesn't do the same thing? Just look at all the dev company's that EA has put into the ground with there BS.
