That means very little as Square Japan holds all the power in the end. The Yurope branch gets in fights with the JP branch all the time because Japan doesn't know that you can just rip the world off and get away with like they can in their own country.
I don't quite get it though, other releases say the dev, not just the publisher. That leads me to think (hope) that this is some form of mistake.

Vox de Vacuo: Maybe I don't have enough information about sins of SquareEnix (feel free to enlighten me, I'd really like to know more), I have never been fan of JRPG cr@p. "Always look at the bright side of life" - at least it's not EA, Ubisoft or trice-be-damned-IGP. Soo, I don't worry much about it so far.
