This is why I always wanted a samurai inspired space marine chapter, chain and power katanas with super soldiers with oni masks blurting out fanatical rage is beyond badass.

Space Marines, no. Pre-HH Emp C's were the only ones even close, it's a stretch though

Eldar Aspect life is Bushido inspired though I guess. Unfortunately for them they are Samurais in a galaxy dominated by Conan the Barbarians (Astartes). See GoT's Viper vs Mountain episode for how I view that Aspect vs Astartes match up in CC

They even have the arrogance of the Viper.

It would blow my mind to see an Astartes do that to an Eldar, a real eye opening experience.

I have purposely avoided watching that scene. I read the books but it just sounded horrid to watch.

Yeah Striking Scorpions are often depicted in the art as having slightly curved long chainswords, the tt models usually make them a little too stubby and straight for my liking.

The Striking Scorpions have 3 chain weapons, the regular chainsword, dual chain sabres (with twin linked pistols, choppa while dakka, dakka while choppa) and biting blades (2 handed chainswords)

Chaos models have curved chainswords as well.
