Square Enix is one the last publishers out there today who let the developers do their own thing, I mean look at Sleeping Dogs if you need a good example. Edit: To explain the Final Fantasy MMO stuff, I've never really associated that with Square. Every Japanese MMO I've ever tried has always been filled to the brim with that stuff, I'd wager a firm guess that they were the ones that pioneered it. What I'm saying is, EC is appealing to a different market made up of mostly Europeans, and maybe a few Americans like myself. I would be happy with any kind of technological advancement what is at least a sign that humankind getting out of the terrible technological trench the HH pushed it into. Yeeea I know the Grey Knights getting some fancy new toys, but I mean, something which can be held in your hand as a regular marine aswell. Well, one can dream.
