Da hell does it mean??? Since i can't rely on a high-performing pc, i can't use a console? I love too following the development of this game, why should i be forced to wait instead of pc gamers?
Because the game is only being officially developed for PC at this time, Miguel has stated numerous times that it will go over to consoles if the Microsoft and Sony agree to let players on the same servers.
in all likelihood you won't need a 'high performing pc' for this game, a $500 usd one will suffice for high graphics. and besides, there are too many bells and whistles with cross-platform gaming (specifically across the next gen ones) that it might not even be feasible if not financially worth it.
While I wholeheartedly agree with you, many amazing games came into existence without the help of any publishers, such as the vast majority of Blizzard's games before they partnered with activision. or the Mortal Kombat franchise that became one of the most popular fighters of all time. My main reason for backing this game and supporting it was knowing that there was no outside publisher influence. Publishers DO influence games in many ways, particularly time/cost as you had pointed out and can very easily cause good games to tank really hard. I also feel that a lot of this may be knee-jerk reaction as it definitely does not sound good and I will wait to hold judgment until E3 but this will essentially decide whether or not I turn my back on this game and E3 better be something more than just a couple screenshots and a huge founder's sign saying (throw us money!) because that is completely unacceptable especially after receiving news such as this.
lolz. i got one. very minimum indeed. its not a bad card at all, it should sell for around 130ish euro if im not mistaken. I really need to upgrade my mobo and processor though. still at 2.33ghz. hehe
