You still have to remember SE will only be publisher. BE are the dev's already financed making the game, so SE will have very minimal input on overal content of the game. Which will still have to be approved by GW to some extent

They are just trying to fix a fuck up... funny I saw a guy on reddit hyping himself up because of the unannounced games by SE, thinking about Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts :D

Personally I think is a good thing they fixed it because a lot more people will show up to see an unannounced SE game than to a WH40k game... the problem could be that those people might not be happy to see a 40k game.

Why does EC only get twenty minutes of screen time?

The ol' bait and switch, eh? I actually like that. Could be entertaining.

    Good point. Actually pretty smart.

And SE might have something to gain from this. A lot of people do associate Squeenix with stuff like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. 40k is a good way to bring in something dark and action oriented to people who don't follow SE much.
  6. It is true. They sure as hell coudlnt care less about Western I.Ps But if it gets the gravy train rolling. I guess Im ok with it...I would have preferred to see Paradox Interactive, as they dont stick thier fingers into The Devs games....But
  7. A Publisher can make an amazing promising game into an absolute mess.

Rome 2 is a perfect example

Only 20 minutes? Maybe they're going to show a new gameplay video or some new artwork. As long as they're not wasting money on marketing stunts by going to every gaming convention possible (even though every gaming companies do it anyways). I mean it's one thing to get a bunch of warhammer 40k fans hyped for a warhammer 40k specific game, but once you start getting a gaming/console community hyped lets just say.......it doesn't end well.

I really hope BE will help break the cycle of marketing madness that has strangled the gaming/console community as a whole. Because i don't want to see such a perfectly good game be torn apart by greedy businessmen.

this is my take on the matter

I think BE has something good going. If it isn't a great success, it will be a step in the right direction.
