look at the warhammer mmo under EA pubblishing how has been managed.
and to the warhammer 40k mmo under THQ management...

so we are lucky (ff14 after a disastrousus 1.0 version has been completely redone and it's a good themepark now, other company simply leave a game die)

Some of the stuff has been awful but they've got their business hats on, the mobile P2W system is nothing but profit and they just want a piece of that pie.

  8. I'd disagee with you entirely that FF14 is anything approaching "good".

Say this about SE: They've experienced losing money and they've recently experienced making money. ARR saved their bacon once they put depth and development over flair and marketing. Even if it wasn't good enough to keep me, I know a lot of loyal players. This isn't SE from years past.

If they're bringing that lesson to the 40K IP, and they're prepared to enter into a soft-hands partnership with bE (giggety) then that's a pretty solid foundation. EA continues to publish any old half-polished turd as long as they can make the profit upfront before the sparkle wears off.

  10. I understand that's where the money is, it makes for horrible games for non-casuals.
