I haven't seen any announcement on Steam or on the Official Website. So just to let everybody knows that on the Humble Bundle Winter Sales, Eternal Crusade is at -66% discount at 17$. Hope it will bring new players.
Always good. There really does seem to be an avalanche of new ppl. It'll be interesting to see when campaigns are in.
Is this why there's a guy quitting LSMs and made a thread about it? Oh man, I shudder to think of new player influx. Inevitably 80% of them will go to the LSM, haha

I just wonder how long they will be able to lower the price? It is not about people like me payed 50$ for it and 4 months later game is still not what was promissed but the cost goes down for new players. If devs wont start working hard in a month most of those new players will disapear. We had one price drop that resulted with new players influx and what we have now? 380 players on steam at sunday. Going free to play also will not make miracles. Game is to repetetive and don`t give player any purpose for playing to keep them for longer. Too few maps, poor PvE, no campaigns, no additional objectives for missions etc.
Going free to play in the state the game is in would be quite a mistake indeed. You would see during a short time a big wave of new players for sure but what you would also see happen is an even bigger wave of trashing the game on the forums and everywhere else by angry, disgruntled free players who in the end wouldn't even stay for long.
Hopefully this pumps some new blood into the game but with the current state I don't see many sticking around after a month. Next patch looks promising, some moves in the right direction.

Wasnt this game just 10 bucks on Steam not that long ago? Jesus, this game is on dialysis or something. Yet it keeps hemorrhaging.
I would not even bat an eye if the game went f2p before terminators were put in. Would not be the least bit surprised at this point.
