I enjoyed the past few beta events if i'm completely honest. I guess i'll just have to pretend i'm playing in an alternate universe where shit got weird.
I read quite a few beta reviews where testers said it will be really neat for typical TES fans but disappoints in MMO features. So I kinda feel it will go down the same route like SW:TOR did...
Probably, though SWTOR has somehow clawed their way back to a position where they have 100k+ players making 140m from that stupid cartel market.
I guess so, but still it's no MMO for me, idk.... MMO's are so spammed and they all aim more and more that you can do all but the end-game stuff alone, but that is why I prefer RPG's at the moment a la Bravely Default and Final Fantasy and such. I just love the traditional party system when you are playing in a wide world rather than run around alone. That is also why Iam so optimistic to EC. I hope the moment you run around alone you die semi-instant. Even in Wh40k lore the big heroes always had an army behind them! (save for Calgar who defended a darn city for a day and night against a whole Ork Horde lol)
I've never been a Elder Scrolls player so I can't really judge the MMO on the actual games but what I did find is the quests were somewhat boring, I really didn't feel attached to the situation that was going on. I have personally moved on from sub based games, if they had scheme similar to GW2 I probably would of bought the game.
I think a lot of that stems from the fact that a lot of the mission content is non-instanced. It's hard to feel attached to something like a dungeon when it's got 200 people inside it.
Yeah that is what I loved since GW1, whenever you went out it was only you and your party, was quite more atmospheric ^^ that is also what I disliked in WoW back then when I played the 14 day trial and later on a private server (yup even that one was semi-crowded XD)
Has the date for when the NDA gone past yet? If not you guys are playing with fire by talking about it.
It's general game concepts that are well known and released by a number of gaming journalist groups. People have been complaining about the lack of instanced quest content for quite some time even on the public Bethesda forums. Don't worry I know what I can and can't talk about .
