At the end of the day (or beginning of the game) it will be whoever we elect as the leader of our faction(s) who decides if we will ally ourselves with Xenos, or do as man has always done, and survive on our own wits and skill.

I of course, would council not too, as I can't see the Orcs needing to ally with anyone, they will have thousands of cannon fodder (free to play) troops to throw at any battle. Of course they will have plenty of regular troops as well, to bolster their numbers. The green skin is our biggest threat, imo.

No one in their right mind would even try to ally themselves with the fallen...if I need to explain why to anyone on this board, go punch yourself in the nuts until you pass out.

That leaves the Eldar, who by my guess, will most likely be the smallest faction on the outset of the game. Why would we ally ourselves with the obvious loser? To be drug down handling their fights when they can only field a squad of cone heads? I think not.

Listen up brothers. Our strength will be unmatched, our numbers will be legion, we will purge the heretic, the xenos, the unclean in a hail of bolter fire and cleansing flame. None can stand before the righteous wrath of the Emperors chosen.

The Emperor's Angels of Death need not to ally themselves with others, We are his finest, his proudest warriors and we will not resort to allying ourselves with Xenos, or worse, Heretics, so even if the odds are 60:1 against us, we will not fear, we will not falter, We are Astartes!, We know no fear and we never yield!
