How about no to this entire forum...I mean seriously. Does this really matter? I don't want to see dancing marines, eldar, orks, chaos, etc. I understand it is a MMO but this is not like the regular mold, so I hope they steer away from these standard MMO emotes. I rather it play more like a third person shooter with focus on actual gameplay, now emotes that fit very well to the factions I am fine. I just want EC to be grim dark, not happy fun time desu desu 40k.
Are Space Marines not allowed to dance? Is it part of the Adeptus Astartes rulebook? As for viable emotes, I think you can do plenty. Marines can have militaristic emotes like salutes and such. Orks can have animalistic fist pumping or howling etc. I don't think it's a bad thing to add emotes to the game, if they're good ones. It only adds to the experience
I think emotes would be fine, but not general emotes. Faction specific things, yes, but I do NOT want to see dancing Space Marines. Just... no. This is an MMO, but it's also 40k. Certain general emotes in standard MMOs just wouldn't work here, and would absolutely ruin immersion. If anything, i'd like to see sub-faction specific emotes. The only faction that is granted a small exception are the Orks, as they are known for their bombastic and sometimes humorous personalities. Just as long as it's not overdone....
I demand at least 20 different versions of thrusting/grinding/twerking just for the Space Marines alone.
