Basically this thread is about emotes & limiting them to stay in character. I will never, ever want to see a dancing Astartes on the battlements. NEVER. Not even one. SM/CSM are cold blooded killers, professionals at their trade with no emotions to hinder them on the battlefield. Guardsmen have possibly very strict discipline, Eldar are with a bit less strict about bad behavior but would not think that the incredibly old Eldar would find bad behavior amusing on a battlefield. So do not let the players do unprofessional / too out of character emotes, for they will do it the very moment it is possible. I'm not ruling out emotes, but I am saying that it's a nice bonus for the game's features, the game can be incredibly good without any emotes, but everyone who's a fan of SM wants to be able to cry "for the EMPRAH! From a designer perspective, I'd say it's very tempting to leave emotes fully out of the game. Personally, I think it would be a shame, right emotes on the right moment give a MMO it's breath of life that increases immersion. I don't ask for much, just a couple of emotes. -There are emotes that I would like to see on the SM, such as the "Punch the sky" kind of battle cry the crimson fists did on their last stand etc. Orks are actually pretty much unshackled by character, it would actually be encouraged to have a rowdy oddball of idiots chaotically using various emotes.

Patrick mentioned in the German forums that it is possible that we will have a dance emote since GW also has an artworks with dancing Marines (I will search it when I have some more time) found it ^^
