    If anything BT will be a sub faction skin even though Nathan is denying it stream after stream. Way to popular to ignore
  2. No not a legion thing but a godly one. The four chaos gods work in adversary pair:
    Khorne =/= tzench
    Nurgle =/= Slanesh
    It is hate speaking. Those worshippers can be together only if their common leader is chaos unified like Horus or Abadan, if not they had once in a time leadership test to pass to not kill each other.

    Actually its Khorne=/= Slaanesh and Nurgle=/=Tzeentch!

    It's so stubborn not to include them as a sub-faction.

    "Fairness" be damned. Just throw them in first then give the other factions another sub-faction later down the line. It will give players something to look forward to.

    Consistency be damned. There is absolutely zero reason to stick to founding chapters only. Aren't BT's the most numerous space marines? Isn't Arkhona supposed to be one of the most important battles in history because of some tactical relevance? Why the hell wouldn't the most zeolous and numerous chapter send at least one battle barge to join in?

    Templars are also one of the most popular space marine sub factions. They have their own codices and upgrade kits. People obviously like them, and their presence would obviously draw more players. Their cosmetics would rake in plenty of funds to push the game's development forward.

    There is way too much pussyfooting about stuff like this. The reasons for not including them are weak by comparison, unless they've managed to justify it by pulling some trick out of the hat related to the storyline that is allegedly being written (something we have not seen even a droplet of).

    I think it's more Khorne =/= Slaanesh and Nurgle =/= Tzeentch.

    Khorne is all about slaughter, honor, martial prowess, that sort of stuff. He hates decadence with a passion. I'm pretty sure Slaanesh views Khorne as uncultured and brutish and unable to enjoy the finer things. Also, Khorne's followers are the most difficult for Slaanesh and his followers to seduce, since the deepest desires of Khorne's followers (slaughter and martial skill) are very easy for Khorne to provide. It's like... Slaanesh: "I can give you all the slaughter you want" ... Khorne follower: "I already have that? Kthx tho". I remember reading somewhere in one of the Chaos codices about some Slaaneshi follower trying to seduce Kharn and he just didn't get it. Slaanesh had nothing to offer him. Oh and they are opposites in age. Khorne is the oldest (stubborn and set in his ways) and Slaanesh is the youngest (hotheaded new upstart who thinks he knows the block).

    Nurgle and Tzeentch are more or less direct opposites. Nurgle represents decay and entropy. His desire is for all things to succumb to the inevitability of decay. Tzeentch desires constant change which basically means new events being built constantly. He desires newness and creation, which is the true opposite of Nurgle's decay and entropy. The ways they seduce their followers are fairly opposite also. Nurgle is basically almost always some sort of last-resort in the face of plague, sickness or death. I can't imagine many want to be a walking pus-bag. It's just a choice they have to make to avoid suffering and death. Tzeench however offers gifts and promise of greatness - he leads his followers to believe they are getting an awesome deal that works for them, or promises to teach them things they really want to know. Nurgle is "I kinda have to" and Tzeentch is "I deserve this"
    Aconti and Galen like this.

    How this thread managed to get pass the 1rst page ???

    EDIT: Being totaly serious now, they won't make a whole chapter elite thats simply not how it works, you can argue the other factions may have this but they have their own reasons to be this way.

    The CSM for example are warbands not chapters, they come from the legions during the grand crusade and after the Horus Heresy deteriorated into Warbands.

    Those warbands can be composed of different legions wich would explain why the ones in game can use each Chaos god mark without interference of any legion you come from.

    Its lore accurate from what I can tell (correct me if not).

    Yeah, I was confused for a bit.
  7. Are you sure? I'm pretty convinced that it is berserk fury against magic and pestilence against pleasure but I may be wrong...

    It's Change vs Decay, and Worldly Pleasure vs Combat.

    So everytime Tzeench makes a plan, that interrupts Nurgle letting things stagnate. When Slaanesh throws a party, Khorne is annoyed because people aren't fighting.

    And then Tzeench and Slaanesh are loosely united vs Nurgle and Khorne.
    Eldritch and Galen like this.
  9. He is right. Khorne hates the pleasure crap of slaanesh, but Khorne is the god of hate. So i guess he still hates everyone else :p

    you're not wrong about Khorne to Tzeench though. Khorne does hate sorcery.

    Then again I think Khorne just has a beef with everyone and everything. That's kinda his thing. I don't think Tzeentch as any particular beef with Khorne. Everything is just according to plan.
