I like the Elite icon for enemies makes facing them menacing and imposing. I main support and really want to see the elite icon for my faction whom I'm playing with. Aside from creating more presence on your team it gives more information to the player which in regards to support, it will help in triage. Yes you can state just look at there character but when rounding a corner and seeing 4 team mates down throughout a room I would love to have a elite indicator on really would help in my decision.
Zerg hunting is great. Sometimes I forget that I've a veteran, and whip him out later on in the match only to be instantly followed by 5 LSM players trying to chase me down. It's a tactic in and of itself; lure people away from taking that vital point they need for time. It's like securing the win without killing anyone. Seeing friendly elites is a nice idea. Or is it @Thousandsuns ? What are you going to do with the information? Teamkill that guy among the 4?
Nope I'm going to presist healing all the none elites first while that fellow bleeding out with the elite watches knowing I'm fully aware he is an elite!
Or we could keep the icon and use the spikes and stuffs as cosmetics to fund the game...instead of going f2p an following the proud tradition of evolve and other similar masterpieces...
Except Evolve did f2p years after it's been released after tons of months without patches. It's impossible to save a game like that, at least the devs here are doing it earlier and plus, why would you not have veterans have some special looks that aren't locked to cosmetics... Besides Evolve died becuase of content issues and severe balance issues, something EC does but nowhere near critical as Evolve.
Because there is allready a skull telling people they are facing a veteran. How "my character" looks should be my choice not Brents.(and those fucking glowing eyes...)
I mean fair enough it should be player choice but meh... ALso glowing eyes mean youre bascially posessed
