"LUK AT DIZ PUNY UNZ! NO CHALLENGE!" One of the Orks laughed as he charged against Gerald. The smaller Ork might be not as strong, but he makes a harder target. The big Ork swung his choppa down, only to have Gerald evade it before ramming his own into the face of the Nob-like Ork. The cleaver the choppa represented landed right in the eye, ruining it and scaring the area around it. But there was no death, instead Gerald got grabbed and thrown to the side. "YA LIL GIT, I SHO' YA HAU TU CHOP PROPAH!" He roared and ran against the Ork on the ground, holding his massive weapon with both hands to bring it down. One eye of the Ork was closed, his sight compromised. "None of you happen to have flashlights or so on you, do you? Orks are light-sensitive and we could perhaps blind them with something glowing bright." Irillyth suggested as he took a rear position to get some aim on one of the orks, but they moved rather quick. Jack was smarter than a Nid with a direct link to a queen as he managed to suddenly land on the back of an Ork and started stabbing at him. "AH! EY! YA GIT! GED UFF ME!" The big Ork tried to chop on his back but the Tyranid was too tiny and too quick. The Ork helplessly kept hitting around himself unable to hit Jack... In the meanwhile one Ork actually died at the group's efforts when Sororitas and Inquisitor Adept came together with their deadly bolt shells, it took each half a clip, but hey. The Ork died after half a dozen rounds detonated within his skull. He fell like a giant and one could swear it caused a small earthquake. The remaining three Orks split across the Mymearan Phoenix Lord, Robert the Tau and Alicia the Eldar swordfighter. The Tau pretty much was on the defensive, rolling and running. Alicia held herself up with the Eldar relic, and Iryllith enjoyed himself quite a lot as he jumped left and right with his jump pack, teasing the Ork. As the Ork he and Jade was aiming for fell Saxon responsed to Iryllith's idea was a negative. 'Sorry, I left my Hellgun in my other suit of carapace armor although one of the Solar Auxilia corpses that ought be around here should have a lasrifle or some prototype equivalent if you don't mind getting to grips with such a thing' Switching targets to a new Ork William continued his bursts of fire, currently not the attention of any of the nearby Greenskins he was free to carry on shooting without much concern over having to relocate. The Ork William chose to aim for was the one moving to try and finish off Gerald who had been violently thrown to the side as soon as he had charged, adjusting his aim as best he could he sought to grab the brute's attention and draw him away from Gerald if nothing else.
Holding on for dear life, Jacks secondary claws digged deep to keep a secure hold onto the ork's bulk as it flailed about trying to hit him. "It'snotfunformeeitherbuddy!" Jack screeched at the ork that was shouting at him. With that, he started digging into the back of the ork with the scything talons and his teeth. He had a rough memory on human anatomy, so he hoped that ork musculature was at least vaguely similar to human's as he went for the vital ones that interacted with walking and standing. He never had to deal with a fungal organism before so it was pot luck if anything he did to work. At least he'll be able to distract one of the orks while the rest take on the three other orks.
"We need to push them back!" Jade yelled her bolter clip half empty and a tiny voice at the back of her mind telling her to reload. Looking to one of there's companions on the constant defenseuve Jade change targets aiming for the ork Targeting Robert. Damn these gren skins how I wouldn't mind having a heavy bolter or a penitent engine right now! Jade thought to herself.
Gerald had to take a moment to get his barings. He was bruised in more places then just his physical body. Being flung like grot wasn't the most enjoyable of experiences. But instead of snivilin like some gretchin git, Gerald just got enraged. His Choppah was stuck in the Orks head, his Shootah however was free to use on the nob-like Ork. He knew exactly the course to take with this one. He'd have to be kunnin' to come on top of this fight. As soon as he could, Gerald brought his Shootah to bare and fired-admittingly wildly- at the half-blind Ork in an attempt to take the Ork's other eye, hopefully blinding the behemoth and making his job way easier in the process. A blind Ork could still be a danger to him, but not nearly as much as an Ork that knows who he's hitting. "I'z 'ill be takin' dat Choppah aftah you'z ded, ya daft grot!"
The Ork got the bolter rounds into his side and his body jerked, hell even the shells detonated and chunks of Ork blew out! But he continued his charge, and so did Gerald. The smaller Ork shot repetitively into the face of the other, his aim being perhaps superior due to the human soul beneath? Either way, when the choppa came down Gerald by reflex grabbed the big Ork by the wrist and stopped it from chopping his head off, literally. A salvo right into the mouth of the big Pre-Heresy Ork blew, whatever could go amongst Orks as a brain, out. The Ork fell almost with his entire dead weight on Gerald, but the small Ork would just step aside and let the bigger one fall. "Two down, four to go!" Irillyth yells from the sideline as he took inspiration from the wild insectoid in steroids and jumped on an Orks back. He was quite having a blast, until playtime was over and he ram the blade of his rifle into the Ork skull, splitting it in half. One more greenskin dead. "I meant three down, three to go." The cocky bastard of a Phoenix Lord said with triumph, double-tapping with a prism shot into the head of the Ork. Jack kept hacking and picking until he found a 'sweet spot' in the Orks central nervous system. He suddenly figured out that if he pokes here, the Orks arm goes up and down. And if he pokes there with his talon, his left arm goes back and forth.... Perhaps he can't kill the Ork because of too much flesh, but he just found out how to make this one his puppet... "Thanks for the help, Sister!" Robert yelled as he rolled under yet another blow. The Ork got aggravated enough to charge into Jade now, allowing the Tau finally to aim properly and blast the Ork apart with Pulse Rifle on automatic fire. The plasma simply ate through his crude armor and inner organs, leaving a gaping hole in the abdomen, while Jade could take just enough time to deliver a round straight to the head - just like in Space Marine (the game). Now they were only two left, one of them slamming Alicia across the hall similar to what happened to Gerald. And the other charging right into Gerald, seeing apparently the other Ork as the only proper git to fight. "MI GETZ YU NAU!" He announced, holding his choppa high as he ran. The shoota of his landed a lucky shot in the shoulder of Gerald, doing not much more than causing a bleeding wound. William's expression didn't change, he merely switched targets and continued firing remaining precisely where he was, after a long period of continued fire he suddenly heard the click click sound of his now empty weapon. He toggled the catch on his boltgun releasing the spent clip of bolt rounds sending it clattering to the floor before he reached for a new magazine from his belt, grasping the container and ramming home the fresh clip he resumed fire not uttering a word as he did so. He wanted to go check out the dropped box of what could be valuable ammunition or examine what exactly was happening in the nursery, but he would have to wait until the last two Orks were dead before he could sift through the group's hard earned gains.
Another one down just need to finish of the Straggler's Jade thought to herself as her bolter clicked dry after finishing the mag she let the magazine dropped as she switched to her bolt pistol and chainsword her mind mostly thinking on trying to aid there dark eldar that took a slamming against a wall. "Over here Green skin scum! Come face the fury of righteous!" Jade yelled firing her bolt pistol and revving her chainsword no fear was left in Jade only a fury that she was ready to unleash upon the green skin as she fired her bolt pistol.
As Jack played around with his new discovery, a wicked smile formed on his tyrannic features. "ThisisjustlikeRock'emSock'emrobots!" he said with glee. Doing his best to guide his new avatar of destruction to turn around to face the other ork with pokes and prodes as if he was guiding an elephant, he begins manipulating the muscles to make his ork start smacking the other. "Dancemypuppets! DANCE!" He screeched as began the rather twisted comedic show of two orks slapping one another around.
After picking herself up from where the Ork had tossed her, Alicia was somewhat seeing red from the indignity of that turn of events. At least it was tempered with abject despair over their new arrival sounding like a full fanatic already, as if they didn't need someone who (depressingly) sounded ten-thousand years ahead of their time to further colour the situation. So Seranos picked herself up off the floor and went back into the fray with her Relic Sword at the ready, charging towards the Ork that had just wounded Gerald with a lucky shot ready to try and decapitate, or at least horizontally bisect the greenskined-menance with her sword.
