~~ Luna - Interrogation Storage Chamber ~~ The eldar woman, Alicia, retrieved her relic and followed William's lead. Iryllith smiled inwardly behind his helmet as Jade asked him. He replied gladly. "Not much. But I have no clue of that Osiris you speak of. It appears that I was in a.... Dreamless sleep, then appeared here, saw an Ork and finished it off. If I didn't know better, it was not just stasis but suspension in time." He shrugged it off as if it was nothing. With pretty much discerned where the enemy might be now. The nursery was the most likely goal and the way was clear (so far). The station had another massive shake and the one or the other would have almost fallen, but everyone managed to stay on their feet. After a couple of minutes of running, they got in the last section before the nursery... Enemies - at last! The group from their position could spy from around the corner and see a dozen Orks, each of them a head taller than Gerald, the Ork from the future. One of them was super-sized, a flesh dreadnought with heavy metal armor that almost looked like power armor. "Well plenty of greenskin to go around...." Iryllith commented with a sly grin. Two of the Orks had a makeshift battering ram made out of ammo boxes taped together. From their memory the group knew that this was the hallway leading to the nursery, so it meant the Orks did not manage to make it with their main body yet and that this 'squad' was some sort of covert ops group or such. "Oight den, looks loik a gud dozen boyz made dere wayz in 'ere." Gerald grumbled to the group, angry at the thought that every single Ork they were going to come across was going to be taller then him. Something he was going to have to discuss with the tinny git when they get back from this one. If they even get back from this one. They did have two more to their number then previously. It was a shame that they had to be fighting the Orks who would always have the numerical advantage over them no matter what. Now was the time for something kunning, proppa kunnin from the looks of it. "Doznt look loik dem gitz knowz wherez we iz yet. So sirprize iz bout da on'lee gud fing we 'ave ovah dem. So whooze gotz en'ee brite ideyahs?" he peeked over slightly to get a bead on da largest one of the bunch. A hulking nob of an Ork he was, if only he could have matched the Ork in height, then this would be going smoother. "Oight, Orky taktiks state, take out da nob, den brake da runtz while deyz all konfused."
After looking up and listening to Gerald explain ork nature and asking for any ideas from the group, Jack looked at the huge ork that was the knob and then at Iryllith's prism weapon. "WhatifIryllithheadshotsthenob? Andthenwecanswoopinontherestwhiletheirsurprised?" he suggested. @Uriel1339 "Feellikeyoucanscoreaheadshotfromhere?" he asked, hoping that would be a killing shot against orks. They are known for their resilience, to the point where even with half their head gone they keep fighting at times. And with just how big these pre-great crusade orks are, it seemed a little too likely.
"Their heads are bigger than Khaine's fist.... I am very certain that I should be able to hit. Especially if your Ork there lets me sit on his shoulders so I get the right angle." He nodded with his head towards Gerald. All he heard was 'shoot the nob', so Iryllith simply tried to interpret the rest that the little insectoid of still unknown species asked... Or told? Him.
'If Gerald allows you to use him as a vantage point then I am all for it, considering we really lack for anything useful in this fortress your ballistic skill should be our most considerable advantage right now' William looks at the band of Orks blocking their path to the nursery, he noticed the battering ram was actually made of a collection of ammo crates, he was uncertain but maybe there was a chance the Orks had not looted whatever was inside in order to give it more weight. Musing more to himself than anyone else he whispered. 'Those Orks are using ammo crates as a battering ram... I want them'
"Think whatever is in those crates are explosive?" Jade asked one wrong shot could mean they blow up and possibly take a chunk out of those works." Jade commented to the others. "I am ready too take a shot thee moment the first ork falls."
@Uriel1339 "You'z zoggin wantz wut panzee?!" Gerald growled, "you'z kan jus sod off wiff dat ya lil gretchin git!" Gerald took the suggestion as a huge personal insult on his part. Being used as some sort of stepping stool for some panzee? What would be next? Have him literally step all over him like a welcome mat? Like he wanted the Eldar to feel like he lorded over him like the smug prick probably already thought he did. Gerald's now Orkish pride was getting the better of him and wouldn't have let such a thing come to pass. "Why shuld I let you'z, runt'ee L'dar?" The strategic advantage of such an action was completely lost to Gerald at this time, he was too swept up in an Orkish rage to think clearly. (OOC: what, did you really think Gerald was going to jump on an idea like that? Nah, that would be way out of character. Though persuasion goes a long way I hear.)
"I am just going to sit on your shoulders while you stand tall. Look. I am not as big as you are, so I ask for some help here, aight?" The Phoenix Lord who still had to look up to face Gerald stood brave in front of the Ork. "Fact is, you said we need to be tricky, right? These Orks would never expect an Eldar-Ork combination. Your size with my aim is what we need right now. You want their big nob dead? Let me sit on your shoulders." The banging on the door continued with the ammo boxes. And the door started to dent in. Time is running out. "......Maybeweshoottheboxofammoandjustblowthemallup? Jack offered up as a compromise for the ork and the Eldar. If the ammo crates were still full to give that much weight, there's got to be some volatile munitions in there right? Would at least make the orks stop hitting the door already and focus on them. It wasn't much but they needed to do something quick since the door look like it was ready to give soon.
Hearing this or at least understanding as much of it as he could made Saxon gulp as if trying to swallow his pride as he longingly looked at the boxes of ammunition which could provide so much for the group if they did contain what he hoped they would. Choosing not to potentially get punched by Gerald again he felt inclined to agree with Jack. 'Its worth a shot, my bolt rounds are explosive so it should set off any munitions that are inside... that might be inside, I just hope that 25k munitions are not made safe against stray bolts per say. It would be throwing away whatever was inside that might have helped us however but if Gerald isn't willing to give a panzee a piggyback then we will need to sacrifice our loot.' William raised his boltgun to take aim at the box of ammo moving to make sure he got a clear shot at the object from an angle where he was relatively sure he would not miss. He did not shoot yet though giving the rest of the group time to interject before he pulled the trigger.
