@BuriasDempsey Understanding Jack was hard, it really was like he completely lacked any means of communicating normally and maybe it was lucky for the group that he was able to talk at all. Saxon stared blank faced at the would be Tyranid for a while as he tried to process what he said, getting a general gist of what he meant after some reflection William responded. 'He has been gone a long time, maybe it wouldn't hurt to find out what he did actually mean just in case, we could also you know decide to go exploring but we would need to be inconspicuous about it.' William started to look around for anything that might lower the group profile, looking for anything from oversized air vents to convenient piles of boxes a member of the group could potentially hide in.
"So wutz we'z gonnah do den?" Gerald grumbled, weaponless and losing patience, "We kantz go enee wearez wiff out sumfing ta fight dem boyz komming ta mess diss place up gud, an we kantz leave wiff out dem 'ummies huntin' uz down fer knowin' too much an beein' brain'eer den dem." They really were in quite a bind, on one hand, the hummie was taking an awfully long amount of time to return to them with whatever he planned on dong to them. Having them be mainly Xenos wasn't helping their chances of their fate being anything but a quick and brutal death. And before the fighting even began too, the thought was frustrating for Ork Gerald to even bare with. If they were just going to come back to execute them, he wasn't going to go down without a fight, timeline be damned. It was the Necron's fault they were stuck like this anyways, whatever happened next-or more likely, whatever Gerald did next-was on her head. "All I knowz iz dat I'z gunna tear wun ov dem in 'alf wiff me bare handz if I needz ta."
"No point in worrying about it, we can't change what he does, might as well kick back and wait for the show to start." He leaned casually on his rifle as he spoke very nonchalantly, not worried a single bit about the human's absence. His father had always told him not to worry about things that were out of his control, and he had taken that to heart.
~~ Chrono Chambers HQ - Osiris ~~ @Vulpas "A female warrior of the future, I see. I wish you luck, Jade. You will need it, against the green tide." Osiris said coldly, watching Jade disappear... OOC: As a note - you don't have grenades. ~~ Luna - Interrogation Chambers ~~ As the group was planning their next step and still being indecisive about what to do, an entire new person came out of nowhere into the room. No fancy bright light, no other sound or any kind of notice that something happened - except that suddenly a new person was standing right there - in front of the group. An Adeptus Sororitas dressed in white and orange power armor. Nothing of her armor indicated a proper Sororitas however, and of course the fact that Sororitas didn't exist until several thousands of years later.... @Vulpas While jack should have realized a Sister of Battle shouldn't exist at this time period, the surivial instincts of the tyranid organism went into overdrive since the figure arrived out of nowhere, and such figures usually had a bolter or a flamer in her hands. "AAAAAHHH! Don'tshootme!" Jack said in a panic before diving underneath the table in a clumsy attempt to get cover while his frontal limbs were still restrained. After a moment of cowering, his more human side reasserted itself, realizing that the Sister of battle was probably someone else. Peering out from under the table with some confidence Jack questioned the new comer. "Wait, who are you?"
"Da Zog iz dis now?" Gerald grunted aloud pointing a finger at the sudden appearance of the Sister of Battle. Gerald wasn't the biggest lore buff of 40k, but even he knew that their shouldn't be an Adeptus Sororitas at this point in the timeline. Which meant there could only be a handful of reasons as to why one was suddenly in front of them. However, Gerald has grown too frustrated with sitting around and mucking about that he couldn't think straight at what those possibilities could have been. "OI! 'Ummie git, who do you'z finkz you iz poppin in loik dat?" Gerald asked, in not exactly the politest of tones, "I dontz knowz who you iz, so you'z bettah start s'plainin yurself."
Frustrated with his lack of finding anything useful in this room William considered leaving the room through the door the group came in without any form of cover or concealment, in a fortress that was likely well garrisoned and well monitored against any form of espionage and without weapons or any means of defending himself. Wishing that he had kept something concealed in event of emergencies William continued looking for things he could use, he would be happy with even a cogitator console at this point so he could at least get a schematic of the entire fortress or even the level they were on. When the sister of battle appeared he was going to reach for something, anything in the conference room so that he could throw it at the sudden intruder until he realized that the Adeptus Sororitas would not actually exist for another ten thousand years. Remembering that the only way that would be possible would be through time travel he calmed himself and returned to searching the room, the other members of the group clearly are going to make the best of first impressions.
Jade simply popped in expecting for a moment a flash of light or something out of the ordinary only to be surprised at simply appearing. Already seeing oddities and quite a make up of a diverse group of several xenos and a few humans, Jade suspected that this maybe the group Osiris was talking about. A tyranid hiding under a table a ork asking questions Jade decided to answer. "I am Jade sent here by a Osiris, are you the first group Osiris sent here?" Jade asked answering the tyranids question and asking a simple one of her own. She stood still as she looked over those in the room wondering where they were.
@Vulpas "Oh,yeawe'rethefirstgroup, andonlyoneIknowof." Jack said as he came out from under the table now after Jade explained herself to them. "Sorry, can'tbetoocarefulright? I'mJack." He introduced himself, hoping that despite his hyperactive voice the newcomer would still understand him.
"First and only that we are aware of." The fire warrior added just in case she hadn't understood the chittering Tyranid. "I'm Rob by the way, glad to have you along."
