Of course, things just had to go wrong for their first meeting with Gerald already being implicated as one of the Greenskins that was about to trash the lab, netting a irritable sigh from Alicia who then said "Obviously, that's excluding the Ork who's busy counting the time and is standing before you, who's actually interested in helping to beat back the other Greenskins. Otherwise, I'd have taken his head off by now." Of course, hoping that would at least keep her friend from being smitten to pieces, Seranos then decided to take a little jab at said fool that might have otherwise gotten her friend pretty much wiped out from existence "And if you'd like to know how the human managed to forget that little piece of information such as who's on his own side, I think you'll find that that faith really does rot the brain, especially his."
After being teleported through time and space, Jack sees that they got put in the worst possible situation for there little mission. Right in front of the Emperor of Mankind, with his primarch sons as babies, as xenos and one human. Alicia and William were trying to talk down the godlike being as Gerald had the same sort of thought process that Jack did. Raising his claws in a surrender like motion to hopefully show he means no harm, he then speaks. "Wecomeinpeace?" Not sure what a obviously insect/reptilian xenos could add to the conversation.
"Stay safe." The Emperor asked of the infant-Horus as he put him back, the flaming sword never leaving it's stare at the group. With the youngling safe once more in his crib, the father stepped forth. "I see a Human who knows far more than he should of what is happening here. A greenskin who can actually count beyond three. An insectoid that looks like it in fact could tear humans easily apart. And last but not least an Eldar." The golden-clad warrior king stated, standing now just twenty feet away. "Yet you are much aware of what is to come, and much more important you do not even try to resist which means you know who I am and what I am capable of. No less I cannot trust you. Thus you shall be disarmed and put into interrogation until you can be trusted." On his last words a group of Solar Auxilia soldiers walked relaxed into the laboratory, guns lowered and hands extended to take the weapons of the group. "If you show any aggression you will be immediately executed. However, as sign of good intentions you shall receive proper quarters and I will alert our defense fleet to keep an eye out for the Orks. But if they do not show up... Surely you can imagine what will happen then." Lowering the flame sword he offered a weak smile to the mixed group. "There shall be no blood tainting my children, and that is an order. Now be good people, get up to your feet, hand your weapons off and let yourself be escorted." The Emperor said as calm, yet strong as he possibly could. The total of soldiers surrounding the foreign group were ten, armed with what seemed glorified las rifles. Solar auxilia? William was half expecting Thunder warriors or tech thralls not that he actually knew what resources the Emperor had during at this extremely early stage, nonetheless he was thinking he must put more trust into allowing these mere men into this nursery than even the space marines legions that would come hundreds of years later. No matter Saxon kept his feeling of surprise subtle as he felt much more relieved that he was actually going to walk out of this room alive, even without weapons he was actually feeling somewhat at ease even with the unknown threat of a supposed 'interrogation' that is yet to come. He watched as a Solar Auxilia trooper picked up his boltgun and shortsword off of the floor, he stripped his belt of his additional ammo reserves handing it to the man before recalling that he did not see an actual safety switch on the boltgun. He calmly warned the man as he reached for the weapon still lying on the floor. 'Mind the boltgun, the safety is off, if it fires off in here you might be more screwed than we are right now.' With his arms still above his head in the same surrender position he had assumed he permitted himself to be walked out of the room and possibly into a much more relaxed situation, he was still somewhat shaken by the bad bad teleport but the group had earned itself some breathing space. He remembered that he doesn't actually see Rico around, probably a good thing as his mere presence would not have helped matters in the slightest with no offence to the guy himself.
The Tau Firewarrior sighed and raised his hands after setting the pulse rifle on the floor. The Emperor hadn't mentioned him explicitly, but the ork was between the pair of them so that might explain it. Five minutes in and they were already captured and surrounded, just freaking great.
While they were now prisoners, it was better than being executed on the spot for them. And since the Emperor should be more than guaranteed to see an ork fleet now that he'll be on the look out for it, maybe he'll trust them more after that despite their almost prophetic knowledge of what's about to happen. Jack looked at his scything talons and to the Solar Auxilia who stood in front of him and just sort of feebly waved them. "Ican'tgivehands, handsattachedtobody." he informed them, not sure how they are going to remedy the fact that his weapons are infact his hands and not detachable. At least he hoped they wont make them detachable...
Seeing that it was conventional troops that were being asking to disarm them, Alicia tossed them the splinter rifle first, given that it seemed to be part of the Incubator's main loadout.... Then she said to them "Once we're done with a so-called 'interrogation', could I have my sword back?" She begrudgingly parted with the blade, hoping that the Mon'Keigh didn't lose it, or else she'd have to act much more like a Commorite such as finding the fool that lost it then make him suffer for her amusement. Course, the lack of Thunder Warriors was quite odd, but perhaps they were still busy unifying Terra and seeing the Emperor being such a caring figure to his own son didn't sit right with her, given that Seranos had the view he was nought more than a well intentioned extremist who crossed too many lines for his view of mankind's survival. After all, having cities that the World Bearers converted into the proto-Imperium on Monarchia (from the First Heretic novel, one of the few HH novels she'd say was actually worth reading) wiped out just because they worshiped Empy as a God sprang to mind as to why she didn't hold him in such high regard, along with the Edict of Nikaea which pretty much froze out Magus the Red from the rest of his Brothers because he was a Psyker and encouraged the use of such powers.... Alicia wondered, if only she could give Empy a cheat-sheet for the Great Crusade: Perhaps that'd stop him from totally screwing the pooch and resulting in the Heresy happening because of a few mistakes on his part.
Seeing the hormagaunt with his talons, the Solar Auxilia simply cuffed the wrists together with three handcuffs to be sure that they stick together. The others were disarmed and their weapons carried behind the group as they were escorted out, led by two soldiers, one each on their side and the other 6 behind them - mostly carrying firearms and blades. They said no word, perhaps so was protocol or because the Emperor was around. The group was then put into a rather big interrogation cell which was the size of an officer's mess hall. There was one big conference table in the center and many smaller tables scattered over the room. The last time they saw their weapons was before entering the room as they were carried off to the adjacent room. Being alone only for a short time, a Solar Auxilia joined the group, being alone and unarmed, walking through the 'prisoners' and shaking of each, one hand (or talon). "Brigadier General Joseph Adrian Charles Karthega. Just call me Jack." He smiled as he sat down, however he was not in ceremonial uniform, he was ready for war in full gear - only lacking his weapons. "It is my duty here to protect this facility in the name of the Emperor of Mankind and I have not yet seen anyone impressing him beyond Malcador the Hero. But if this was an assassination attempt... It was a poorly one. Either way, the way I see this is we have two options... The first is the easy way. You tell me everything there is to know and we see where we go from there. The second is that you could fight your way free through trial by combat against whomever the Emperor chooses as champion." He folded his hands and leaned forwards, awaiting response of the group, looking through all of them before resting his eyes on the human, the General's face having an obvious expression of 'where the hell did all these aliens come from and why is a human officer amongst them?' William had lowered his hands since he had left the Nursery area, and had proceeded in a grim march in the procession led by the Solar auxilia, when he had entered this large conference room which appears to have been re-purposed for the point of interrogation he was still straight faced trying to hide any emotions. When the Auxilia officer appeared he merely looked in his direction as he walked in fixing him with a blank expression even as he presented his choice, responding first he answered curtly. 'First thing is first General the reason we are here at all was to warn the Emperor of the coming disaster, that part of the mission we have accomplished as awkwardly done as it was.' He continued fixing the officer with his expression as he continued, the knowledge the group held would be of no use if they kept quiet but the one thing they should not mention is where the group came from or what the group is. Another thing that should not be mentioned was the end game plan, the Orks were supposed to be soundly beaten in such a way that the ruinous powers will attempt plan B, it might be alright to mention their existence as it would provide further credence to the group goal but the Emperor may not expect a direct teleport kidnapping. It was unfortunate for the group that their victory here may have been permanently damaged by Osiris's choice of group placement which may now have given the Emperor reason to expect a move on the Primarchs now. William continued talking. 'I believe we have said everything we were supposed to say, there is a big mean Ork invasion coming this way that is supposed to be strong enough to defeat the Emperor, informing the Emperor that this invasion was on its way was the first thing we wanted to do. The rest we do not actually know ourselves, there are powers at play that we don't actually know are even coming here now, all we do know is that this whole thing is being orchestrated by pawns of the dark gods and living Xenos machines of unimaginable power.' William fixed the brigadier general with a vacant expression trying to look as professional as possible maintaining eye contact, he finished his speech just as he confirmed the fact that he personally did not want to fight any champion the Emperor might nominate. 'If we are lucky Jack the Orks will be all we have to worry about here today. And spare your champion, if we wanted out of this fortress we would have tried it long before now.'
Having been lead off into what appeared to be a conference room which certainly wasn't what Alica expected when there was the mention of interrogation. Still, there was so much that their token Mon'Keigh had left out (needless to say, she wanted to see if it was at all possible to alter time for the betterment of folks and in this case, it would be enlightening the other, Solar Auxillia Jack about what the future held in store) that she had to restrain herself from laughing out loud, instead releasing a humoured giggle at the omission of knowledge. After her little fit of restrained laughter, Seranos said "Really? I think you'll find we know a fair bit more than the deceitful human would have you believe, and I suppose.... How far down the rabbit hole of knowledge do you want to go? From how this moment in time is meant to go, all the way to the how mankind got to where it is in the 41st Millennium? And who you can blame for the state of mankind in that future?"
