  1. OOC: I stopped receiving updates for this for some reason. Sorry for the posting delays

    "I concur entirely with Will about dealing with the Orks, and stealing some of the Emperor's weapons while we're at it."

    The lack of new upgrades was very disappointing, and he had no use for the sword whatsoever. Alicia would be a much better choice for that. Perhaps the Emperor would have some decent weapon stashes.

    "The facility mainly is a research facility keep that in mind. Nonetheless, perhaps early experiments of Volkite and Bolter weapons could be found. Just keep your focus on the Emperor and make sure that the Primarch Infants are taken from the Chaos Gods, not the Orks. Since it appears key memories have to be triggered to return on the course of reality, that seems to be the anchor of everything. Once you are ready to depart, just as last time. Transform to what you desire and march through the portal. Given your thoughts are very coherent on your mission, it is calibrated and ready for you." Osiris stated with her usual matter-of-fact voice, the monotone sound and lack of emotion still probably creeping one or the other. There were cold humans that seemed to lack emotion, but she really lacked any emotion.

    "Sure go ahead, you're the only one here with any sword training in the first place." Jack said as he waved a hand at the sword that was stored here. "That thing was pretty damn heavy, I mean I know it was a greatsword and I was picking it up with my mouth, but its definitely not light like wraithbone was said to be. Just hope greatswords were apart of your repertoire." he said as he stood up from the floor, stretching his back. "Oof, superhormagaunt vs orks on the moon. I wonder if this is when the term gribble comes into ork vocabulary. Heh." Jack laughed, trying to forget that they were about to fight large greenskined aliens that could give a space marine a good run for its money in melee. The soulstone flashed and Jack was back in his tyranid form and waited at the gate for them, keeping quiet so he didn't already start annoying them with his new speech pattern.

    Like the first time and the time that he had changed back, when William placed his hand on the machine the transformation was far from extreme and aside from the adjustment in movement he had to make in response to the weight of the equipment he almost immediately was able to walk through the nearby portal with little delay.

    The boltgun had refreshed its supply of ammunition and the short sword he had also requested was the same as it was before, the carapace armor was definitely the most heavy thing about all the equipment he had to take but its protection over mere flak armor was invaluable. Most importantly though because he was unable to take anything else from the machine he did have quite a significant capacity to carry more items on his belt, if he came across any packs or satchels he may also be able to carry weapons and ammunition he might find in those.

    He most certainly would be depending on what he might find over his regular boltgun if he encountered anything, but merely having the weapon made sure he would be able to suppress an Ork mob if one was encountered early.
  5. Once again, a blinding light enveloped Gerald once again. And his Orkish self was standing there, new shootah in hand, and with his Choppah from before. The mantises scythe blade was unfortunately missing from his arsenal. This discovery was made clear after patting himself down and looking about himself. He grumbled, annoyed at the current predicament, "OI! Who took me Otha Choppah!?!?" he shouted about the group, mumbling angrily to himself as no sign of his mantis arm was in sight.

    Sure he had his Shootah again, and he was pleased to see it in one piece again. But he was currently overwhelmed by his frustration at not having his other Choppah with him. Two Choppahs was better then one afterall. He was probably going to have to stick to just looting a Choppah off another Ork or something. And it would give him the ability to compare his height to those of other Orks. He was really hoping to be able to look Nobz in the eye at his current height, but something deep down inside was doubting that being the case. This displeased Gerald even further.

    Gerald roared and just readied himself, "forget it! I'll jus foind me anotha wun durin da fight. Plent'ee of Choppahs on the Boyz, I'll loot wun off ov dem."

    @Maleth

    He looked toward the Eldar panzee, wielding that stupid blade that ended up becoming more of a pain to retrieve then it was probably worth. "Yeah go r'oight ahead, dontz need a panzee choppah en'neeway. It jus aintz proppa enuff." He pointed at the panzee and stated out loud "but I'z gettin da Warboss'z war gear dis time! An Dat gitz 'ead iz moine too!"

    @BuriasDempsey

    Ork Gerald went to lift the little gribblie under his arm again. If anything it'd allow him to keep an eye on the Nid, at least until the fighting broke out. "You'z red'ee dere gribblie? We'z goin to ah reel fight dis time. So dontz you'z get krumped, ya 'ere?" It was the closest to words of caution he could give the gaunt. Afterall, he wanted to look after Jack, even if his Orkish side really didn't see a point behind doing so. Convincing it that the gribblie was his pet now helped a bit with convincing his Orkish side.

    Even if it also accidentally labled the Nid as an emergency food source in his mind now.

    After a brief flash of her soul incubator and then taking the form of her Kabalite Warrior complete with Splinter Rifle, Alicia headed over to the display case to take the blade that it seemed everyone else was fine with her having. Of course, a heavy sword (if Rico and Jack were reliable sources on it's weight) wasn't that much of a disadvantage as having more weight was good for being able to knock down her foes, even if it meant she needed to put more force into swinging it around.

    Speaking of Rico, Seranos replied in a semi-joking manner"Well, I suppose who get's the warboss's head depends on who slays him first? Which I'm eighty-nine percent sure is going to be me, as you've got a poor excuse for a sword whereas I have the heavy hitting blade, and a proper rifle compared to your hunk of scrap that you call a Shoota."
  7. @ Maleth

    Gerald's mood went from grumbling loudly to uproarious laughter. "You? Zog da Warboss? You'z pullin' me leg." Gerald was able to reply in between his laughter, "You'z got a deff wish or sumthin panzee. You fink you'z gunna be da wun ta zog da Warboss wiff dat fing? It Probab'lee weighs mor den you, git." Gerald was going to ignore the comment the panzee made about his Choppah an Shootah. It was going to be easier to just show her how wrong she was by krumping the Warboss with them himself. That and friendly fire at this time wouldn't have been the best thing at the moment. If Gerald knew his Orks, they were going to need all the help they could get if they wanted to make it through this.

    Even if the help was a bit mouthy. Gerald just hoped she was being more then just talk right now. Last thing they needed was for Alicia to run into trouble with just using her weapon of choice. "Foine dem, furst ta zog da Warboss getz hiz 'ead. Jus dontz be too surpriz'd when it'z me dat doze it."

    ~~ Luna - Emperor's Primarch Project Laboratory ~~

    The group eventually finished their jokes and pre-war conversation and stepped into the ominous portal into an uncertain past. The travel was instantaneously as before and much less action-packed than before as the mixed group appeared in the center of the twenty primarch cribs that were arrayed in a circle with equal distance to each other. They were out of the tube-phase and were now all healthy boys in their individual cribs that were all equal ivory-white with only blankets covering them. Name inscriptions on the front of each crib revealed their names, allowing to identify each of the Emperor's gene-sons. In fact the Emperor himself was present and pointed his famous flame-sword at the intruder-group while holding a child and of course it was no other than Horus Lupercal. Apparently no other human was in the room, only an observation platform elevated one level above the group towered above them, the glass being mirrored into the laboratory so that the researchers and potential guards behind could not be spotted.

    "Teleport technology is what I observed, yet I know that we have means set up against that! So explain to me this instant how you managed to arrive here and what your agenda is or I shall demonstrate my children the way of the warrior!" Someone would think Astartes were big and loud and certainly everyone knew that Primarchs were a tad bigger than the average Astartes. But their father was a caliber bigger. It was like standing before a boss of Dark Souls, towering with burning eyes and ready to strike and kill you instantly if it was his will. Offended by their presence, aggravated by tiredom and being zealously protective of his newborns, the Emperor would dare no being stand before him. And this unimpressive band of individuals made it not any harder to hold back such emotions.

    Wait William had seen this type of situation before on TV where an angry father walks in on an inadvertent intruder in the house and all hell breaks loose, only this time there likely was not any remotely possible way to get out of this fortress alive. Trying his best to ignore how intimidating this entire situation was he stepped forward from the rest of the group making his position towards the Emperor a little more prominent than any of his comrades. Being possibly the only person even eligible to begin a conversation in order to calm down this situation he tried to defuse the shock of such a sudden appearance by disregarding the means of how the group got there.

    'Teleport technology that seems to have placed us in the most intrusive and awkward spot imaginable, could have been a better way of making a better first impression than to portal straight into the Emperor's most valuable and for that matter secretive project at this time.'

    William slowly placed his boltgun on the ground and left it lying there, he also unfastened his short sword and dropped it on the floor in front of him before straightening up and raising his hands above his head palms forward as if surrendering. Perhaps this peaceful approach might make the Emperor hesitate long enough to hear the group out, arms still raised William continued talking fully expecting to be wiped out body and soul at any moment, not even Necron tech might be able to stop that... Was there an after-afterlife? Saxon was not keen to find out.

    'Truth is we were here to warn you, there is an Ork invasion coming and its headed right for Terra orchestrated by the ruinous powers who are trying to manipulate the Orks to do their bidding. Its the Primarchs that they are after but they will destroy everything on their way here unless we stop them... It would be easier to tell you the rest if we weren't a bunch of soldiers in a nursery with all your beloved sons.'
  10. "Stoopid fault'ee teleyportah, grate place ta drop us off. If I die 'ere, I'z gunnah kill dat git, I swearz." Gerald started grumbling about their horrible luck. Teleporting in smack dab in the middle of the Emperor in the process of creating the Primarchs. What a great first impression they were making here. A bunch of Xenos and an Acolyte teleporting in the Emperor's secret facility from out of no where. They probably could have been teleported anywhere else and been in a more opportune position then they were right now.

    And to make matters even better, William starts informing the Emperor of the Ork incursion heading their way. With him being the only Ork in the room at the time. Gerald just started counting the seconds before he was going to be smited to oblivion for just standing there. "Wun...two...free...for...foive..."
