Taken aback by the serpent, apparently called Merhandrias speaking about a sword going missing likely by who Alicia assumed were the duo that the crazy Necron referred to as her foes in time.... She couldn't help but feel a little stupid for shooting at him, shame de-misting the red haze a touch. But then again, perhaps if he hadn't introduced himself like every video-game boss ever, the silly beast wouldn't have given her a reason to shoot at him!

Still, there was the matter of the two golems that might have taken out two of her friends which meant that anger once directed at the Phoenix lord who's rightness about the situation felt to her like it should be more at home in written fiction, rather than a stranger-than fiction reality and instead at the two golems, charging at the one that had taken out Tyler with her rifle held like a club, ready to smash it to pieces once she had closed the distance with the lump of minerals.

"These! Guys! Are! Tough!" Iryllith roared between slams of his rifle, causing no damage whatsoever one of the golems, only scratching the surface a bit. The angry golem threw a punch in his abdomen and sent the Shadow Spectre flying and skidding across the cliff, causing him to land with his back near the edge. With some low growls of annoyances he slowly started to get back to his feet...

William's Boltgun on the other hand turned out to be super-effective. The boltshell made for the golems insides, hooked and detonated. A whole arm of the golem detonated and the leftovers landed in the water. The other shots went into the wall beyond, due to the golem suddenly ducking.

But Rico was there! Like a hawk he came swooping down and with a mighty punch against the head he didn't only crack the head-crystal of the golem, but also got quite a .... Sting in his hand. And the golem rewarded the daemon with one of the finest headbutts in the galaxy, dazing the warp creature.

Jack and Alicia in tandem clubbed, slashed or hit in any other shape or form on the other golem together. The talons did little more than scratching the crystals and causing high-pitch scratches as if someone used their fingernails on a blackboard. Alicia's clubbing with her rifle however cracked the golem in multiple spots thanks to it's shape, her eldar strength and agility. This allowed the super-hormagaunt to finally ram one of his talons into one of the cracks and piercing rather deep into the golems torso. On the downside.... He got stuck on him, unable to pull the talon out. The golem not really phased by this situation started running straightforward to give Alicia an uppercut.

The last Crystal Golem wreslted with the Ork, Gerald, exchanging blows back and forth. The Ork got some support by Robert, the Tau. Overall weakening the crystalline creature, but not doing anything too significant as of yet.

William kept on shooting until he heard the distinctive click click of an empty magazine in his boltgun, cursing under his breath he released the empty cartridge and reaching for his supply of extra ammo on his belt he slammed home a fresh magazine locking it into position and recocking the bolt weapon. Now completely sure of the effectiveness of his boltgun he resumed fire on the Golem that had just ducked out of the way of his shots, walking forward a few steps to ensure all his shots hit he sprayed the entirety of the crystal golem with an unrelenting barrage of bolt gun rounds.

'You sit down and stay down, you messed with the wrong guardsman!'

After his burst of fire he went off to make sure that @TuskatheDaemonKilla Rico was uninjured, or undamaged whatever the hell phrase works for Daemons.
  4. Rico was knocked on his ass by the headbutt and quickly scrambled away from the thing putting a hand on his head. His head was spinning too much for him to get air born and he couldn't do much to these things given his obvious lack of weapons. In his currently blurry vision he thought he could make out the one of them that had turned into an Acolyte was coming towards him and count help but chuckle at the though of a member of the inquisition coming to the aid of a daemon fake or no.
Maleth, BuriasDempsey and Uriel1339 like this.
  5. "Ahoh." Jack said with quick realization of the situation he was in. With his main appendages stuck inside the golem that was still alive despite Jack and Alicia's best efforts. Instead of trying to wiggle himself free, he tried moving them back and forth to see if he can't start prying apart the crack that was made since his claws were in so deep in the first place. "Gonnaopenyoulikeaclam!" he proclaimed as he did so.

With the catharsis of breaking the golem via using her rifle as a club giving Alicia a little rush of endorphins, that moment of pleasure was diminished when she saw that the hunk of crystals was trying to fight back, and that Jack had gotten his claws stuck inside it, which at least was a blessed relief from hearing them screech while his claws had done nothing more than scratch upon the crystals that made up the Golem.

So Seranos attempted to dodge around the stupid hunk of mineral's attacks and then if she hadn't been clipped by the attack, she would hopefully continue her onslaught with her rifle-turned-club while trying not to hit her friend who seemed busy trying to open up the animate crystal's with his claws.
  7. Rob took sight at one of the Rock Golems, calmly lining up his shot even as water poured from his suit. His friends had done their share of fighting already, and now that most of the water was out of his suit he could join them.

    "Targetting middle golem."

    Golem #1 - @Donairian & @TuskatheDaemonKilla
The volatile burst of the Acolyte's boltgun opened up the Golem further, allowing Iryllith to make a killing blow by landing his sharp edge mounted on the front of the rifle into a neck-crack, removing effectively the 'head' of the creature. Once that occurred, the leftovers simply vanished into nothingness. Rico the Fury Daemon could see the warp stuff and he also could feel the opportunity of absorbing the essence... "Good work, Human. Perhaps your weapon is not as primitive and inefficient as I thought." The Phoenix Lord admitted in good spirits, after all an enemy just had been slain.

    Golem #2 - @BuriasDempsey & @Maleth
Alicia was quick, but the golem anticipated the move and aimed with an overhead slam to ram his rock-hands into her. She was too slow. But luckily there was a huge insect like creature attached to the golem that ripped both arms open, basically detaching them from the torso before they could do anything to the Dark Eldar. At the same time, she could seize the opportunity and whacked her rifle against the head of the golem, causing him to tumble backwards. The hormagaunt was free, the golem still alive but quite in disadvantage now.

    Golem #3 - @MetalDog4 & @GobMaw_HellSmasha
Gerald the Ork choppa'd right into the head, only to be kicked away and land with his back on the ground. At least that reduced the chance of friendly fire for Robert, landing multiple shots in upper torso up to the primary crystal the head was. The plasma ate through the dense material but only a bit at a time, luckily it was no Las Rifle. However the golem seemed not dead just yet and very angry. It started to charge the big Ork who readied himself to meet the crystal creature heads-on.

    Golem #4 & #5 - Merhandrias
In the meanwhile the sea-dragon wrestled with the golems, but he was at quite some disadvantage with one golem on each of his heads.

Seeing the serpent having to fight two of these enemies at once caught William's eye first, noticing that his particular fight was not going so well made Saxon decide that his attention was required more on this part of the battle. Checking his ammo reserves William was happy to note that he had not yet run out of spare magazines for his boltgun, running up towards the edge of the pool in order to get a better shot he was quietly hoping that Merhandrias was not thrashing around enough to make this endeavor impossible.

Taking slow and steady aim William focused his sights on one of the golems attacking Merhandrias, making a deliberate effort to make sure he won't miss and accidentally hit the sea serpent he fired upon one of the Golems latched onto one of the serpent's heads. Shooting short bursts and correcting his aim each time afterwards it required William to stand perfectly still in order to focus his fire as best he could, in his efforts to hit his target he had subconsciously closed one of his eyes so that he could better look down the iron sights.
  10. "OI! You big STOOPID rok!" Gerald shouted at the crystal golem as he stumbled back on to his own two feet, "you finks you'z so tuff eh? Well come an 'ave a go if ya finks you'z 'ARD ENUFF!" He beat his chest with his hand as he goaded the crystal monster to charge at him. Making sure the crystal git was coming right for him before jumping out of the way and have the big stupid golem collide into the wall behind him. If he was lucky, the crystal creature would smash himself into the wall and be easy pickings at that point as he would then bring his Shootah to bare and pump the thing with an excessive amount of Dakka.
