  1. His hand went straight to the Choppah, already bringing it to bear. Wannabe blade the Eldar said. Oh how tempted he was to prove how effective his 'wannabe blade' was on squishy Eldar flesh. Gerald was regretting this not being a search a destroy mission. Why couldn't this be an assassination mission.
"You wantz ta know why you'z such an unbearable git? Kuz you'z an evr'ee otha panzee out dere iz a daft git wiff no brainz betweenz doze point'ee earz of you'z!" Gerald practically shouted at the Eldar behind him, urge to maim rising with every word that trickled out of the Eldar's mouth. He felt like grabbing the Eldar's jaw and ripping it off the next time the Phoenix lord piped up with more self-entitled and arrogant garbage. "Wut makez you'z so entitl'd ta kno dese fings eh? Eva fink dat may'beez, you'z shuld jus shut up an accept dere aintz an ansah ta evr'eefing. Othawize you'z kan try to make it out of dis place on yur ownz, go right ahead. I'z will count 'ow long you last wiff out en'nee 'elp."

"Besidez, you'z don't RAM wiff a CHOPPAH. You'z CHOP wiff it. An you'z be REEEL satisfyin ta chop."

Gerald snarled at the Eldar they were escorting and brushed past toward the very front. Pulling out his Choppah and Shootah in preparation for whatever was ahead toward the light. He was mumbling incoherently though a wide variety of words like "panzee" "git" "zoggin" "krumpin" and "sonuvah grot" were clearly heard.

He really needed to kill something right now. And every second that passed made the Phoenix lord out to be a more viable target.

'We aren't saying anything because that knowledge has dire ramifications if the wrong person knows it, surely you must know in this world that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing to have.'

William gestured to Rico @TuskatheDaemonKilla the one Daemon in the group taking one hand off of his boltgun to point. He was exasperated by the third degree and in his head he just wanted to get away from the situation, but now he felt his answer would be good enough reason for the Xenos to shut up and stop asking questions without actually exposing the nature of the group. After pointing to Rico William continued his response, he was going to ignore the Eldar's veiled insult in favor of keeping the meaning of his answer clear and straightforward.

'Don't believe me? Then why do things like that exist? If I may be so bold to say I do not think telling you what exactly is going on is going to do you any more favors than it will us, so I suggest that it would be better if we do not discuss the matter further. Our mission is to get you out of here alive and for that purpose utmost secrecy must be maintained'

As he finished William drew his attention onto the cavern the group was just now approaching, expecting to see more mantis Saxon kept his hands firmly on his boltgun expecting to be rushed at any moment by hordes of the subterranean horrors. The discussion with the Eldar had distracted him somewhat but he was still extremely pensive about the situation the group was in, the mere fact that they were hopelessly lost filled him with an uncomfortable feeling of dread and the knowledge that they were on a time limit did not help. He clenched his teeth as he mustered up the courage to keep going
  3. "Could you not refer to me as a that." Rico said as he turned around and begun to walk backwards to face the rest of the group. "I already have him doing it and I don't need you guys doing it too." He said before turning back around mumbling angrily. Great now the would be inquisitor acolyte is treating me like an animal he thought to himself. Now if they wanted to see an animal maybe next time he could become a flesh hound or if he could maybe even a juggernaut but for now they are getting closer to the light so he figured it didn't matter for now.

With everybody cross-talking, Iryllith couldn't really determine what was going on, especially with his focus taken away by the amazing view ahead. "That is more beautiful than the Crystal Caverns of La'vie Tyransael!" Iryllith exclaimed looking at the sight before them. Standing on top of a cliff, the group could take the entire gem-covered cave in, with a lake on the bottom, reflecting in the multitude of colors the gems across the entire cave. Red rubies, green emeralds, blue lapislazulis, orange topazes, and so many more never seen by the human shapeshifters that surrounded Iryllith the Eldar Phoenix Lord. "Now that is the least thing I expected here!" He exclaimed excited, turning his back to the lake and looking at the awkward group. "First a weird insectoid, a talking Necron who does not mindlessly kill, an Ork that knows more than 'Waagh' I wonder what will happen next on this adventure?!"

And as if he summoned it, a huge lake-serpent came out of the water, a two-headed sea-dragon monster. The body was still submerged, only the heads sticking out. They hovered right above the group, ready to strike as their eyes focused on the Phoenix Lord...

Alicia stayed out of the group's various arguing as they walked onwards, but even she let out a slight gasp of awe as she laid eyes upon view that stood before them which to her was a sight of utter beauty.... And feeling touched by greed, she wondered about the unlikely scenario that everyone could come back here with the right tools and enough time to go mining, perhaps they could take it all and go and make a killing on the gemstone market back in their home timeline?

However, the fake Dark Eldar's wishful thinking was shattered when a bloody monster come out of the water, causing Seranos to sigh loudly and half-comment, half-complain to the Phoenix lord in a rather annoyed tone "You just had to say it, didn't you? You just had to say the one thing that every single type of story-writer punishes with having something horrible turning up in an ironic twist of fate that the anyone could have seen coming from a mile off?!"

Still, there was the small matter of having to protect the seemingly brain-dead Eldar and so the shapeshifter raised her rifle in the general direction of the heads of the sea-dragon... Thing, and let loose the Splinter Rifle's toxic payload, hoping that she at least managed to hit the creature in somewhere that would hurt, like unloading some Splinters into one of it's eyes.
  6. @Maleth

"Well if you'z didn't say it I'z wuld 'ave" Gerald grumbled as the serpentine heads emerged from the lake. They looked alot bigger then the mantises they were dealing with prior to this. It didn't exactly bode well for the group. If the damn Phoenix Lord wasn't so important to stabilizing the time line then Gerald would have tossed the mouthy Eldar into the the twin headed monster's mouths himself. The thought still crossed his mind, He brought his Shootah to bear and aimed at one of the beast's heads. Focus firing on the one Alicia was firing at. If they could blind at least one of the heads they would have had a better chance at surviving this ordeal. And with a wall of Dakka coming it's way, they were bound to hit something important.
  7. He ignored the gems when they entered the next cave, they were pretty rocks but no more than just rocks to Jack despite their potential worth. The tyranic side ignored it just the same, knowingit was unable to eat and devour the rocks like a pyrovore. Then the twin headed serpent rose from the cave lake just after Iryllith spoke about the cave and there misadventure. "Andthisisanotherreasonwe'remadatyou, youknifedearidiot!" Jack screeched as he rushed forward to the phoenix lord. He might not be able to hit the heads like the others from where he was, but he was hoping to distract it with movement and sound like serpents back on earth so it wouldn't go for the Iryllith or his friends first. "Heyheyeheyyou!" he said jumping around to the side of the Eldar in his distraction effort.
  8. Rico let off an annoyed growl directed at the Phoenix lord for tempting fate. "I'm starting to realize why we were sent here." He said as he jumped into the air and gained flight. If they made it out of this alive he was going to kick him in the face he wasn't sure how exactly but he was going to do it. If he died he would be sure to haunt this idiot for the rest of his extremely long life. Either way this thing upfront of him was going to have it's eyes clawed out he figured as he dove in to take a strike at one of the heads.
  9. As the heads popped up voraciously out of the water, the Pulse rifle wielding Tau merely shook his head and sighed.

    "Fucking figures."

The pulse rifle came up and aimed directly at the closest head, spitting out its deadly plasma at the hopefully less-deadly head.

William took one look at the Serpent like creature and immediately decided he did not want to fight it, it was simply against his principles to do so. Knowing how this looked he placed himself between the beast and Iryllith keeping his bolter raised at one of the heads of the creature but did not fire a single shot against it deciding instead to simply stare it down.

'Damn do we have to fight this thing? Because in all honesty I don't want to and not just because it has us in a size advantage, nah lets just get the Eldar and get out of here.'

Now this was a bad feeling, the group was bound to call him out on this inaction later but the reason he was doing this was personal, he couldn't do this.
