The Tau followed the Necron through the ruins, shooting in controlled salvos after him. They scratched his Necrodermys, proving quite insufficient against his regenerating armor. The Necrons obliterated the Sororitas were they stood with the Monolith arrived and Immortals and more Necron Warriors marching out of it. Two Immolators burned the near Necron Forces, but were destroyed as the Monolith came into firing range, the drivers reacted too slow. The Living Metal sensed more life and one of their kin.... An uncontrollable, their protocols assumed it was a rogue Flayed One and opened fire as well as they drew near. The Monolith crushing a huge part of the ruins around the Palace.
That was his cue to get out of there, no easy feat and he frankly didn't expect to survive. But if it helped accomplish the mission then it would be quite worth it. With Gauss fire raking the area from one side and Pulse Rifles the other Salek withdrew toward the Palace Walls, hoping the engaging forces would allow him to sneak back to rejoin the others. His weapon went silent to further aid his attempt at stealth...
OOC: You are in HALL, not a hallway ^^ a huge big neat area which is very clean and somewhat the core of the palace.
*the ork ducked behind cover as the large amount of bolter shells rained down on him* "dats a lot o dakka...." *looking at the tyranid* "we'ze gettin outa ere!" *and with that he crouched down into a mix between a sprint and a crouch walk and ran towards Salek's position, hoping he would lead to a safer place* OOC: if you want me to i can say i picked up the tyranid and ran with him to safety
The Tau hunted the Necron Warrior and almost had him, but then they got obliterated from the side, the Necron engaged the Tau, seeing them as higher priority. Soon both parties waged a war before fighting the Sororitas. Though Salek found himself now behind the Ork and the onslaughting Termagaunt that would be killed easily by the three Sisters of Battle.
*the gretchin looked at the group of Sisters approaching, he and the Eldar were about to be exposed* "we should be runnin' now...."
"Excellent. Now the warrior women may be foolish enough to launch a counter attack. " Lifting his weapon he fired in support of the close combatants. It worked, he was rather shocked but wouldn't question it, sometimes fate had a funny way of being merciful, or at least seeming so.
