Dog tried to jump on the creature, hang on and continue ripping away at it with his claws. Perhaps it was a little foolhardy to try and take it on alone, but Dog wanted to prove he didn't always need help for everything, that he was finally grown up. OOC: Going to bed now, have fun guys!
The entire action failed, the creature already started to run, instead of fighting to the death. For Dog's luck it started to run right into his brother...
Bobby was out hunting with his brother felix , discussing why he couldn't actually wield a gun when this massive beastie came out of no-where, and so he did what he was good at-he leapt on his back and sunk his claws into his hide-this one was going down.
Dog didn't know any curse words, but if he did he would have used one now. The gaunt decided to make the best out of the situation though, since he was behind the herbivore Dog tried to hamstring it's back legs. If it couldn't run at least Felix could put it down humanely.
<Felix> Felix opened up on the beast, taking care to avoid hitting his brother as he leaped on its back.
OOC: Gauss Flayer = Axe? Seems legit.... ALL HAIL HIGH-TECH OF NECRONS! With the superior strength of Kyral and his weapon as well, a tree was reduced quickly to usable firewood. Probably enough to burn the whole night as it was perfectly dry and big in size as well. OOC: I assume Felix helps pew pew on it. Felix primed his Pulse Rifle and aimed right at the head of the creature. It was a nice salvo. The first hit got into the head (-6), the second melt right through it and destroyed the head (-8). The third missed as the creature fell dead. Bobby and Dog were basically useless except for now cutting the creature down or help transport it, as Felix had slain the beast to an ultimate death. Due to the Taus precision, the enemies' brain was the only thing destroyed so that all other parts were still in good condition and edible.
"Nice shot.", Though Dog did his best to mask his disappointment at not killing the beast himself, he wasn't quite successful. "Alright Bobby, let's chop this guy up!" Moving briskly on the gaunt began cutting off bits of meat.
<Felix> The man grinned as he watched the creature drop and its head explode. "Thank you Brother, come on, lets get it back to the others."
Kyral builds a circle of rocks around the pile of wood to stop it catching the surrounding terrain on fire once its lit, he leaves the fire unlit and tries to build some form of shelter OOC: whats near me? a large rock to lean something on? or just some trees?
