The team has a lot of ambitious plans and as far as I know they do still intend to include many other types of units including "hero" classes. I'm not sure if the veteran class is actually replacing the elite class but I highly doubt it and I'm confident that they will actually have elites as a separate class type.

Maybe you don't know it because your life is a small room where you write shitposts every day but the normal person needs to work at Monday and often they have to stand up early, so the won't play long at sunday evening. Does anyone know how we're going to get these without the pre order pack? Is it going to post rank-6? I personally would like to see one more character slot that can be one of the four factions elites, rather than one of each. Would make faction loyalty more of a thing, I guess.
