Let's not go too far with this, I don't want to inadvertently derail this thread. So I'll get back on topic. I'm perfectly fine if the Eldar are like that in game, so long as they don't become overpopulated because "Well, these guys are really good. Maybe I should join their team instead."
Yeah, I hope the Eldar don't become good at being annoying in some way or another, and all the trolls and stuff swarm to them...

Well no, there's nothing wrong with your post but it kinda made me realize that the way I had written mine, might not have been made obvious that it was a joke. So I was just clarifying.

And you would have preferred that you were killed instead of them? Your friends (a term which you should use loosely when used in the context of the guys you where on patrol with), would have left you for dead in 2 years time during a battle with Orcs. Now you have the opportunity to live and children. Those children of yours will then have children, one of who will grow up to become a fleet commander. the grandchild of yours will quietly accept the assistance of the Eldar in defeating a Chaos incursion above your very own home world. Perhaps, you should just say "than you" and move on?
I say the xeno is deceiving you, perhaps he killed your compatriots as part of some grandiose plot, or maybe it's just some horrid jest at your expense, do not become the punchline and allow this foul creature to revel in the slaughter of your brothers. Whence you are caught in one of these xenos webs you must cut at them until you have freed yourself from it's string of deceit. Rally guardsmen, and laugh the laugh of return fire!
I would not worry about Eldar and trolls in particular. Since friendly fire is in, all factions will have a load of trolls to begin with! As far as aspect warriors being good at one thing, that's what they are supposed to do. But than again, that's true about ASM/TSM/Devastators too.
