I had a similar time last night for around 8 games in a row as orks where we only had around 5-6 players vs 10+ for around 10 minutes. One game was 3 orks vs 9 lsm which just made me wanna leave and go to bed... Ended up playing chaos the rest of the night.
Stalker Bolter is a bit nuts now actually on UAT especially against Eldar. Snipers are going to dominate next patch. Then again it might teach people to suppress more so who knows. Tactics are gonna have to be used A LOT more for pushes on attack maps. Anyone running off on their own is gonna learn that the hard way.
Pretty much stopped playing, waiting to see just how shit the next patch is when it goes live, before I decide if it's worth continuing, besides some casual Ork play, I have zero interest in playing LSM/CSM, so it is quite possible there is little left for exclusive Eldar players, come the patch apocalypse.
I am not playing without RTC reward for it. (Even with RTC it makes nearly no sense cause guess what? That's right - my faction got no customization to spend it...) And I am surely not lonely with that.
I can totally confirm this. Eldar Teamwork between Pugs can usually be compared to Chaos Pug Teamwork, but today was brutal... I mean, i am a Warlock with Embolden, i do my embolden for like 3 Times around 1-2 people to heal em up, and as everything that runs with me is a warlock, i thought to myself "Hm... many warlocks... but wait, we have no DA's. So time to switch" And all i saw were melee-warlocks, not giving one frick about healing people. After the game was over, i got the friggin preserver-Recommendation. For beeing Warlock for like 4 minutes!!! I mean, that can't be the eldar i used to play with and fight against.
I wonder if the warlock changes will cause their popularity to fall. I do feel they get over represented a lot, coming from someone who almost exclusively plays one when I do play Eldar. My reasons for playing it though mostly goes to the fact that I am not exactly the best at aiming, and I'd rather keep people alive who might be better at it. I am aware that some of my shenanigans may not be as viable in the future, my favorite of which is: running into a group of downed teammates, dropping embolden and being that bright ass yellow Iyanden warlock bait to have the enemies ignore the group of people rezzing because of blood lust. I usually barely make it out of situations like that long enough to LoS and embolden myself as I run and bring myself back up to full, or in some cases I embolden and fight around teammates to provide the distraction to bring them up. That's my favorite thing of the class and I can play out my own fantasy of being a savior of my comrades. I also feel like i'm one of the few remaining warlocks who use Jinx too, but I don't get to play matches very often with clan stacks when I play.
