But most of those things don't blink. Warp Spiders are supposed to blink in and out of real space. Swooping Hawks do the deep strike thing. I could see Warp Spiders as a high req unit because the warp is going to be so crazy strong here. Them blinking out of real space would probably be way more dangerous compared to a usual warzone.

Unless they implement a x-Ray vision thing out of sight porting would be pretty slow/ineffective. Disscussions have been had about two stage porting rather than "blinking". So first stage would be to jump into the warp where the player would be able to see a rough outline of the real world and maybe the indication of other players "souls"; then second stage is obviously the transition back to real space. Always a pleasure. Warp Spiders are a must have for me. I know we won't get them straight away, but I don't mind. As long as we get them within a reasonable time frame. There is also this thread I made a while ago, which clearly shows a lot of support for Warp Spiders. http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/which-aspect-do-you-want-next.41876/ The "blink" ability from natural Selection 2 of the Fade, is very close to how I see warp spiders working. The blinking starts around the 1.14 mark.
