I think you might need to do a little more research. There's a list of classes we get at launch. Warp Spiders aren't on it but Jain Zar is the faction leader.
oh sry my bad cool jain zar is in but boo no warp spiders humm i wonder if they could be added at a later date along with parts of the other factions?
also could someone point me to the post with the confirmed heroes in it, I would be most appreciative..
Just in case, Jain Zarr won't be a playable character... Confirmed heroes are Autarchs (already on the store) and Farseers (always ussd as example when talking about eldar heroes).
I have no doubts of Warp Spiders eventually being implemented. I think the bigger hurdle than properly implementing teleporting mechanics is carefully choosing the other 3 faction class types which needless to say will be asymmetrically balanced like apoth/sorc.
I can see the main problem with Warp Spiders is them being a bit OP in a shooter setting. They maybe implemented as a sort of sub-elite having a long cool down bettween spawns. So you would have access to them for a big push but the warhost wouldn't be able to spam them. Equivalents could be: Deep strike assault terminators for mehrines (they would only teleport once remember). Bloodletters/horrors/insertdaemonhere via a timed warp portal for naughty mehrines. A weirdboy mass teleport ability that has a usage cap between 4-10 teleports before it goes spectacularly and hilariously wrong. I know these represent a lot of work and will all have their problems, but my main points are about thinking laterally with regards to equivalence and not underestimating the impact of teleporting troops in a shooter.
