Only the Inquisition and the occasional rogue Chapter actually want to cleanse all xenos. If the Eldar stopped sticking their dicks in the Imperial Gazpacho, I think most Chapters would gladly have them as an ally. Did someone say [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]?
Probably easiest to just remove Eldar and Orks, and allow LSM's to fight LSM's, and then we can just do LSM's and CSM's, and everyone will be happier. Or since everyone seems to perform equally on the actual battlefield, we could stop with the nerfs.

I mean, that's pretty much exactly what I was thinking... the first bit about removing Eldar and Orks anyways... not so sure about the second part though. Imagine if the devs only had two factions to worry about though, good space marines and BAAAAAHD space marines. WE COULD GET SO MUCH MORE COOL SHIT! MORE SHOULDER PADS RAWR! I've got it though, so ok what if we go with parts of your first idea and parts of your second idea... So since everyone seems to perform equally on the battlefield we change the part about stopping the nerfs to say "CONTINUE" with the nerfs. And we can specifically target like lets say Eldar and Orks for these nerfs. These guys win all the time anyways, lets make it a real challenge for them. As a new member AKA the "poisonous Anaconda" (my anaconda don't want none unless you got buns hun) what do you think? I like the 4 factions. Playing as an Ork is a good time. It's just that EC isn't in a good spot on player-count to be separating them into 4 groups.
It'll probably never happen, but it would help the low numbers if there was a Battle Now-like option to queue for a match on any faction/toon. Edit: Oops, and sorry for continuing the thread derailment.
