I think... I think I can surround Erythea in flames... I just need you to plant me in the ground and do as you did before. Focus your energy and you'll find it will ignite into a burning inferno a moment later. Jyraielle was at a loss what to do herself so she took Khalintyr's advice, planting the blade firmly in the ground. She brought forth the strength of her Aspect and the resilience it taught, just like the tiny Scorpion itself that might not be strong, but could flourish almost everywhere. She knew then that Khaine would be her guide. Aim true, Sword-brother, she said, bring forth your corona, let us win this day or if we cannot let us at least leave a legend worth a song!
Selene looked down at the bleeding Celexia, wondering what to do for a moment before she had an idea. Unsheathing one of her swords, she picked up a rather sizable rock and turned her attention to the downed Venari. "Now Cel, this is going to hurt like you won't believe." She said, before quickly slicing the rock in twain and pressing the still heated half against her wound, checking to make sure she wasn't bleeding from anywhere else, so the other half wouldn't be wasted.
A moment later searing flames emerged from the blade and traveled across the ground, leaving marks of its path as it moved. The blaze surrounded Erythea and then it grew until she could no longer be seen. It seemed the flames would hold her, for now. Though it circled her at an incredible rate, they did not pull closer and consume her. Likely being held back by her own psychic abilities, or perhaps the flame wasn't meant to harm. The Eldar were able to hear the sound of something approaching, and from what they could feel, it was a powerful psyker. It seemed he or she would arrive in a few moments. Perhaps soon enough to salvage the situation? Or perhaps doom it? Celexia shrieked and writhed in pain as the heat cauterized her wounds. Though after a little less than a minute she seemed to calm down. The pain no longer affecting her it seemed. Either that or she was doing her best to ignore it. She nodded at Selene. "Thank you Eldar..." She took a few heavy breathes and then sighed. At least the bleeding had stopped.
OOC: Ooops, apologies, double post. Seems I missed this one when I was typing up my reply. Just had to be on a different page. Lol. Alas, the Venari was quite a large beast, making a charge combined with stealth... Rather difficult. One of the Marines turned to meet Wyrniv as the others charged on. It seemed the Marine sought to challenge the Venari head on as he himself charged towards Wyrnirv.
Selene nodded back at the Venari, looking around to notice the fire circling a figure, and Jyraielle holding her strange sword in the ground. A trail of scorched rock marking it's path from her. "Caerys, I don't believe we'll be able to hold Erythea off for much longer. How is the evacuation proceeding?" OOC: I assume it's an evacuation, been awhile since anyone made mention of it.
Zerelith kept her aim on Erythea down her reaper launcher ready to fire upon the chaos farseer to suppress her agaian and to help attempt to slow her down. "I am ready to fire upon her at any moment farseer." she said into her helm
[OOC I am sorry if you are waiting for me I literally could not think of anything useful to post, I ran out of ideas and nothing I tried would ever work (and this is not me complaining; I had been told it wasn't supposed to). So I kind of ran out of ideas altogether ... if you want to carry on I can try to respond, but really I can't think of anything to post other than the sort of thing I've already done, and it doesn't work, so ... Any ideas? I might be able to work with it if someone came up with a plan ]
