Zu'ark hushed Groliath as he looked at the closest Tau corpse, always having been fascinated by them. "What made three different species come here and all die in the same place? Especially the Tau.... They should be... Harder to kill." The Shadow Spectre looked through the Tau corpses to see what kind of Battlesuits they were. "Ashura, go ahead but be very careful, stay in constant contact. Try if you can make anything out. Groliath you follow him on a ten pace distance. Elysavar, you follow Groliath to your best ability. I know your mobility is somewhat restricted, so be careful. Teras, you stay with me." The Spectre addressed each and looked at them as he gave his orders, as he was done he returned to the anlysis of the Tau, starting to get their corpses to each other to analyze each ones death in a closer detail.
As Razauil drew closer he found the figures to be humans. Dressed in what seemed to be tattered rags as they tried to survive in what little remained of the city. They all seemed on edge without the protection of the Guard. The Fire Dragon found no form of shelter, nothing but the war torn plains. The bodies of the Tau seemed, old, nothing left but armor and skeletons. The bodies having deteriorated long ago. Far longer than that of the Imperial bodies strewn around them. The Tau corpses were few in number in comparison to the others, each corpse being that of a simple Firewarrior.
"Simple Firewarriors.... Perhaps an expedition team? And very old..." Zu'ark said out loud to the Wraithgate holder nearby. He moved over to the Ork and Imperial bodies, investigating their age and possible cause of death.
"Civilians," he voxxed back to his team, "vermin covered in dirt." He shrugged as he moved towards the humans, trying to get into the earshot and hear what they are talking, to try to get more info. He relied on his skills and the lack of detection of those Imperials since they looked quite weak. But still, he moved with caution, watching for any traps or alarms. His plan was to move to one of the ruined building that had no fires in it (the one which looked most abandoned), after he heard what humans had to say. Dammit, civilians... It was his belief that civilians don't count at all once the hunt is on. They were worthless prey, not even worthy of his time. Not to mention he actually had something against killing unarmed civilians - that was against his belief. Worthless prey is no prey at all.
OOC: Eldar don't use Vox.... ? ^^ "Try to listen to them, but do not stay long. Move further and see if you can make another settlement or some kind of Outpost out." Zu'ark replied over the communication device as he checked the corpses.
The Orks and the Imperials each seemed relatively fresh, many still in the process of decomposing. No older than a week at most. Bullet holes littered the armor and some showed signs of precise cuts, likely that from Eldar weaponry.
Following ashura keeping on constant look out, Groliath couldn't help but noticing flickers in the side of his vision but each time he would look round there was nothing, he was ready though would anything try to jump at him but it unnerved him that he's not in the shadows as much as whatever else is there. Then he pressed on further up the mountain keeping a good distance from the scorpion and he could hear Elysavar still behind him.
"Looks like Eldar weapons... Could be either from the Biel-Tani or the Dark kin...." He said out loud, thinking. Activating his communication device. "We found near the mountains some Ork and Imperial corpses which seem around a week old or so, inflicted damage by precise shots, looks like Eldar origin. We also found some dead Tau, but they are very old. Zu'ark over." The Shadow Spectre stood up and turned to the Wraithgate wielder. "Let us follow them unto the mountains, stay right behind me." The Leader ordered, walking straight ahead, keeping the Eldar ahead of them always in eye, focusing on them, having in mind to guard them.
Teras nodded along quietly to Zu'ark, his attention not so much on the corpses around them as it was on their surroundings. Ocassionally he would perform a snapping spin and level his Shuriken Rifle at an area he had seen the shadows form but never once fired. "They must know we won't be trifled with whoever they are..."
The next time he spun around he saw more than just a shadow catching a momentary glimpse of some red attached to one of the figures, but the details of which he could not make out.
