Anaen jumped at the seer, taking them both out of the way of the blade that was going to impale his chest. "You shall not fall brother" he said, standing up. Lighting danced around his hands as he prepared to unleash it upon this enemy. He had seen nothing like it before, a seemingly living statue. He raised his hand as he moved, lighting tore from it towards the statue. (Ooc: hope this is ok, have been getting no alerts )
zerelith cursed under her breath as she put her power blade away and grabbed her weapon she then took aim and fired at one of the statues arm. she didn't have her armor locked she knew it might be a death sentence if so she made sure to be ready to drop her weapon at a moments notice to get out of the statues way.
Su'iris growled with a breath, looking for Teras, looking back at the door. "I think the statue rather had a fail-safe so it won't be destroyed without battle!" Her hand went to her stomach where the pain was the strongest, but she pushed it away as she was required for combat. "Does anyone carry explosives? Also aim for the chest! I assume the core is right behind the inscription!" She yelled, while now heading for Teras. OOC: We got Fire Dragons who could be botted to put some Melta Charge or something on the statue? ^^)
Teras lay dazed on the floor for a bit, his head having impacted a wall after that next knockback. "Damn it's fast..." Hearing Su'iris call for explosives he holds up two plasma grenades; his vision too blurry to reliably throw them. "Here!"
Jyraielle ran to Teras and - though her instincts were to check that he was all right - she took the offered grenades and sprinted back to the side of Airthas. "Seer!" She kept it brief, her body language conveying her thanks for his timely save. "We are in a small space - can you shield us with your power if I throw the grenades? Else I fear we could all be hurt by the blast." In readiness she held one grenade and prepared to make it ready to throw at the statue's centre mass.
Airthas gave Jyraielle a reassuring nod, yet a sly smile enveloped his lips. An idea had formed in his mind, one that could amplify the grenade's impact. "While that is indeed a solid plan, I think it best to take it one step further." Raising his living hand once more, Airthas conceived a lighting shield of awesome warp energies around the hostile statue in a display of ever intensifying power. His mental capabilities holding steady under the stress of such a huge dome that was the warp barrier that surrounded their adversary, the Warlock sent a mild glance in the Scorpion's direction while the majority of his attention was focused on maintaining the warp field. "The shield should cause the explosion to be contained, lest it bring the room down on us. Now would be the time to use that grenade of yours, my dear."
Jyraielle nodded her understanding and pitched the grenade forward, armed and ready to detonate right on target. The distance was small, but she had faith in the power of the Seers.
Airthas' shield did as intended, the explosion was contained, the grenades tore the statue apart. Luckily it also contained the shrapnel that was tossed about as the statue broke into various sized pieces. Once the shield and the flash of light from the grenades vanished, all that was left was a simple pile of rubble.
Su'iris sighed in relief and hurried over to Teras. "Are you alright?" She asked, hoping he was not too much injured from the prior hit of the Statue.
