The Eldar stood within the forests of Targus. To the West, where the mountains, the tips of them charred black from war. South of their position was a ruined Imperial City, from their position they could see smoke from fires, still burning. In between all of these landmarks was the plains, which would have to be traversed to get to any of these locations. The plains themselves were filled with Craters, and skeletons of those long forgotten. --- Groliath searched the area for any Eldar presence, but alas he could not find any for the distance, was perhaps too great to search each area in such a short time, though he felt some twinge of life within the Forests around them, the mountains to the west, and the Imperial City to the south. --- OOC: Do not forget, Caerys is there for guidance as she is part of the Strikeforce, so do feel free to contact her if you need. (Not saying do it right now, just that she is available.)

Groliath knew his brothers and sisters had been on this planet but not where and how. "This place is deserted. Hardly any lifeforms for miles there must be something hidden from my sight maybe Caerys has clearer vision from where she is." He told his squad. Then turning to Zu'ark "The city in the south doesn't have anything to do with the vanishing of my Kin but can you contact the Exiled to see where a live Mon'Keigh settlement is I feel we'll get more answers there" Hovering a little over the ground going into a meditative state. Getting in contact with the Farseer. Caerys can you see where we are and something weird that you can't properly see? It's as though this planet is screaming I can't make out what it's saying though...
There is life all around you. This planet screams in agony, yet it's inhabitants cling to what little life they have left. I can not sense any Eldar presence, but it is likely they do not wish to be found if there any still left. They do not know we are searching for them.
Groliath snaps out of his meditational state to cast a quick conceal over his squad and tells them Stay down we do not need to fight this. Half a minute later a feline creature no what? An insectoid or a feline cladded in chitin however it didn't matter it was massive and fast, it's red eyes gleaming straight at the squad it's sabre teeth snaring at them, circling around the concealed area for what seemed like a long time, really only 3 min though. It came all to close to the conceal spell, then all of a sudden raising its head tilting back to the concealed area and ran off in mighty leaps. OOC: That's some 40k wildlife for ya
