Teras continued working away at the statues hand to free Su'iris. "Don't start with that now Su'iris, could of been anyone of us and we wouldn't of left them behind either. " There was no hint of irritation or anger in his voice, perhaps a touch of exasperation but perhaps that was just a sigh of relief? Who could tell.

    OOC: I'm back! :p

Airthas felt like he was in a magical trance, still overwhelmingly awestruck by the mystical architecture of the ruins interior. The carvings on the wall were elegant and extravagant, and interested him to no end. Sadly, the meanings were lost in time as not a single artistic symbol made any sense in his eyes. Whatever or whoever built this place were obviously not Eldar, but that left so many questions to flood his mind with an untold number of unanswered inquires. It would seem that this place left as much unresolved as the Guardian near the entrance did.

Yet even a celestial tomb such as this one was not without its flaws. For the statues of marvelous design took up arms and moved in mechanical ways. But having stayed behind to study the ruins further, he had missed out on the action. Thankfully, his allies had dealt with the situation... for the most part. He hastily yet gracefully strode over to the statue holding the Guardian captive, his demeanor calm even with the recent tension that had come and gone. Interestingly enough, the young Guardian proposed for one of the Seers to mentally sense for some kind of clue just as he approached. A thoughtful smirk enveloped his facial features upon hearing that he could be of use. "An ingenious idea, Guardian. Have no fear, I am sure we'll have you out in mere moments."

His mental sensitivity matching that of his own curiosity, Airthas reached out with his mind so that he could commune with the statues and the general area around them. While this was on a much larger scale then he was normally conferrable with, he felt it necessary in order to free the Guardian in a safe and timely manner.

The door behind the statue clicked, and in an instant slid slightly open. Su'iris was cut free of the hand, causing her to fall to the ground, but in an instant the statue's eyes began to glow again, and its head turned to Teras. It immediately swatted him back into a wall using its forearm. Su'iris was kicked several feet backwards before she could even react, the blow landing squarely in the chest. It then raised a blade and swung at Jyraielle, attempting an upward strike. A second blade descended upon Zerelith, making a motion to cut her clean in two.

"BY ISHA" she yelled as she rolled out of the way. she continued moving until she got out of the statues way she grabbed her power blade. "Well looks like we are going to have to destroy it." Everyone stay out of its range or it will kill you zerelith kept her blade as her reaper weapon stayed on her back she couldn't dare stay in one place or she would be dead.

Teras ground back against the floor for several feet alongside the Guardian after being swatted off, his armor had hardened against the blow but even then it barely held and all the breath had been forced violently from his lungs. Brandishing his Dire Blade as he rose the Avenger stared on at their foe. "Someone want to check the lever again? " It was probably a moot point, hence his diving right back in; his place was at the fore dealing with their foe. Going in for a sweep he tried to take off another hand.

"It moves when the doors do!" Jyraielle shouted. "They must be on some kind of timer. Everyone, we need to evade and get through the door!" She dodged frantically, keeping low and staying mobile.

[OOC That's my guess, anyway - that the doors reset.]

Airthas withdrew his mental energy from the confines of the ruins, instead turning his warp mastery to the escalating situation. Without even thinking, he noticed the statue's repeative thrusts towards the Scorpion and raised his still living hand in the space between the sword and its targeted victim. Bluish sparks engulfed his hands, and out of thin air a field of intense light emerged from the plains of oblivion and into reality in front of the lifeless structure's weapon. As the blade collided with the newly constructed warp shield, a large pulse of energetic power emerged in the statue's detection with twice the strength as its initial blow.

The statue's blow connected with Airthas' field and in a flash of light the offending arm was blown off. It scattered across the hallway having broken into several parts. Another blade was aimed at the center of Airthas' chest, going for a direct stab.

The statue parried Teras' blows and then slapped him back again with the flat of a blade.
