"You do not have to inform me of the passing of a life into death" Anaen said harshly. "And I would rather not be reminded of my friends passing" he added, his mind drifting back to the screams of his friends and brethren, when the tyranids came..
"Do not worry friend i will not bring it up. But try to find comfort that we will all see our freinds and companions in death one way or anthoer." She said coldly but seemingly trying to comfort him. "Like i will one day she my companion zill one day in death."
Caerys returned moments later. "Now that those are... well placed somewhere safer than on my person for now. I imagine you desire my company?" Caerys asked.
Teras found the growing gathering quite pleasant yet there were a few missing faces that stood out; Razauil who usually didn't enjoy company like this to his knowledge so he wasn't of concern, Airthas and Caerys whom he assumed were still walking about together so again not much concern, same for Zu'ark and Uiriel, that left Layairda and the Fire Dragons. Tsking to himself the Avenger rose, waltzing by Su'iris and planting a swift kiss on the her cheek before leaving the room to go and pay their Banshee a visit.
One of Airthas's eyebrows raised at the question. "You make it sound like a bad thing. If you wish me to leave, you simply need to say so. I'll not let you suffer my presence if it is not wanted."
"Well I don't currently have anything I need to do, so... If you had something in mind?" She asked. Teras found the Banshee in her quarters removing her helm and setting aside her Shuriken pistol. The moment he stepped in the doorway, she turned her head to him and waved.
Anaen decided he would remove his helmet. He revealed the mark of the dead tattooed across his face, and the symbol of Iyanden on his forehead. He thought of his friends, many of them now resided in the great wraith halls of Iyanden. Many more dissolved inside stomachs or eaten alive by parasitic ammunition used by tyranids. He shook the thoughts away. He placed his helmet down on the table next to him. He turned to the scorpion. "There is no true peace, but a resting period from fighting" he said.
Waving back he stood at the threshold of the room's entrance. "May I come in, or you out? Most everyone's gathered in the Dining Hall right now if you wanted to meet some of the new faces. " Teras shrugged slightly smiling that same warm smile he usually carried about.
