"Thanks for the trust you had put in me Teras, but I don't think I'm the right man for the job," Razauil responded. "Something that I might find amusing and not that dangerous others, might find completely different. I know some of you, if not all," he laughed, "find our Zu'ark here arrogant at best, but he has results. Last mission was a success, and we suffered no casualties. So I believe he should continue leading, until the moment he makes an error in judgement and fails horribly." "About my hunting instincts - I will be better off used as a tracker in the vanguard then as a leader, because that place will hold many dangers, and I can safely say I have more experience stalking through the daemon possessed places than any of you, considering the place I come from."
Teras turned his head to the Banshee who had joined them, blinking a bit as his first notice of her was quite a fair bit of talking. "Wordy aren't you sister? Well met none the less, I am Teras of Ulthwe, a Dire Avenger. " He tipped his head in greeting. His voice was relatively disinterested as most his attention still yet lied on the Eldar Vessel. "I suppose we should be getting on with this then? Be done with this cursed thing sooner rather than later. "
Kai nods to the other two new people on the team. It was strange how this strike force seemed to be drawing so many different Eldar to it, and all at just the right time. Perhaps there was something to this skein after all. "Greetings to you both, I am Kai." The raven haired figure bows its head slightly. "I'd introduce you around but I only recently arrived as well. And if it is a warp-infested place yes, it would be risky to take anything for granted... I only hope that it is more of the bug-infested variety. If it is that then we could just kill it, kill it with fire. Lots.. and lots.. of fire. If it is the tainted variety of warp debris... We can only make peace and be prepared for our souls to be lost forever to She Who Thirsts." The pathfinder shudders slightly, features twisted in a grimace. Shaking off the melancholy Kai turns toward Razauil, catching the end of the exchange. "Great, I'll join you up front. You can keep me from stepping on any daemon's tail, and I'll show you how to not walk straight down the lit tunnel when you scout?" The last is said with a wry grin, words framed in the more teasing variety of the complex language. "Though perhaps we should figure out what equipment we might need for this mission before we head out?"
"Speaking the thoughts of most Sister. Would of much rather they stayed in my head but thank you for the forced confrontation. " Teras sighed and stretched his body out, tensing up and relaxing. "Sure there will be plenty of time to get to know everyone afterwards, least the survivors. Getting attached too early can be a wee bit...crushing. " The Dire Avenger frowned deeply and shook his head, he needed to shake off this aura of despair he had going, wasn't befitting of himself or beneficial for anyone for that matter.
Aida made a mocking bow similar to that of a Harlequin to the Avenger, but the ranger's mention of such terrible fate ended her easy-going gesture. Yes, she was prepared to lay down her life in the name of her kindred - her life belonged to the Fates... But she was not willing to lose her Soul, she was not willing to endure eternal torture at the hands of Chaos.
Razauil turned towards Kai, "Why not, I'm always up for a stealth practice, especially in a place like that." Noticing that few of his teammates are feeling uneasy with the mention of their Old Enemy, he spoke again. "Don't worry and look upon the bright side - we will be Khaine's weapon, striking into the corrupt heart of the darkness. We will be swift as shadows and ruthless as a Bloody Handed God himself. No daemon will stand against us."
Zu'ark bowed to Aida - the newcomer. "I am Zu'ark, Shadow Spectre of Craftworld Mymeara. As prior's mission Squad Leader I welcome you to the Khalir Anaris and our... mixed group." He bowed once more deep, just like he did on the first day when he met all the other Warriors. His usual shining bright Emerald eyes were hidden behind his Aspect Mask he had put on earlier, along with his short black hair. "We are all of different spirits, while Razauil and Teras here prefer to kill, I am more the type of person who thinks that a mission and manners shall have priority - for we all must work together to accomplish great. Egoism has no place among us anymore, not since... The Fall." The Spectre's eyes were focused on the Banshee and he identified her thorough - liking also her choice of words and gestures. Aida was less barbaric than the Eldar of Saim-Hann and more like those back on Mymeara.
Aida responded to her brother's speech with a big sincere smile - with just the right amount of aesthetic self-awareness you could expect from a lady of Craftworld society - and a tilt of the head, meaning liking. "I agree with you wholeheartedly, Zu'ark." Aida then turned her attention to the projection of the ancient Eldar fortress... If there was one Soul that she would like to see walk out of there, it was that of the Spectre. She made a mental note to prioritize him but she knew that once the war-mask was on, she would have only one thing in mind - the disk. (Gotta love it when the GM isn't around to advance the plot, eh? I feel like if Aida keeps talking the whole critical mission thing would be washed down.)
OOC GM is currently indisposed - chilling at his school. He usually comes back in the evenings and advance's the plot then.
(OOC: I know. I read it some posts ago... Or might have been by the beginning. Still, no problem by me. )
