Eldar Sprint Animation

    Also, i think that Warframe have the best animations and movement flow so far. It's so enjoyable just to run around, jumping, wallrunning and using maglev with rolls.

    Damn you got me there on that one, although I doubt we would be hit with a sprint like that lol
    Also yeah I love Warframe movements, shame the game has no end game and got boring though

    Well, yeah, it will probably reduce our hitbox a bit, but at least it doesn't look like we have a Singing Spear in our glorious butt. The most annoying thing in our sprint, at least for me, it is how DA holding catapults while sprinting. It looks so wrong on so many levels. Why they can't hold it near the chest?

    High port position XD.
    It's how you hold your weapon for maximum running speed.
    It's real, just it's not as "manly" or "cool" as a "low ready", so you're not going to see it very often in hollywood or anime.

    I agree mostly.

    I wouldn't say the animations are bad. They just don't look like sprinting animations, i have to keep checking if i'm actually sprinting, the animation just looks like a normal jog

    Sometimes real is not good enough to convey what you want and you need to make things realistic instead.

    Well, it would be okey if we played some kind of operators or regular forces, but Eldars not even human beings, so leave this point for Arma or something like this. Also, i wouldn't want to see this animation even for AM Guardsmens. But anyway, this is a game and aesthetic and staginess should be more important, than realism.

    I agree to an extent except with how the weapons are held, keep the high port position but if you hold your gun across your chest in both hands, it's more secure and you can get more shoulder/hip motion into the movement, which would make it look less... comic. Second, I'm at the crown tourney pretty regularly. trying to sprint, or even jog with your sword/axe held forward like that is a recipe for hitting yourself in the leg every step or stabbing an ally as you jog past. meanwhile holding the sword down pointed slightly behind you, (don't have a clip, sry) gives you freedom, again, to get shoulders and hips into your run and protects you and anyone behind you as you move, unless they bump into you from behind in which case its their fault. Honestly the BEST way to run with a melee weapon is to SHEATH the damn thing, but as no one in any video game except the Witcher wants to put actual sheaths into their games i guess i have to settle for point away

    Really, the animations are fine. Let's fix something more important such as gameplay mechanics and missing equipment for Eldar. The only animations I would complain about are some of the Ork ones, everything else is just fine as it is, if not a touch overdone (Executions are mostly terribad.)

    I've got no issue with current Eldar sprint animations.
