Forumside off-topic RPers are a bane, yes, indeed.
There is no possibility for fat T4 3+ marines for tactical approach.
because, you know, they are at most times just plainly equally suited to take on anything.
they have almost the same levels of protection and so on.
All the tactics SMs will require would plainly be "avoid that dude with AP3"
    And all that.
Orks, on the other side, will consist from completely uncontrolled F2Pers (yes, many would be Russians and as such have awesome levels of teamwork) and Nob part that would consist from immature I'MMA SHOOTIN DEM! Part and "damn, I love green" part which can think.

Still, no-brainers won't last long when exposed to the horrors of T3 4+ life of an eldar.
  2. Ok get off your high horse and so let me get this straight just cause you playing eldar you think your going to be more dedicated than everyone else who payed just as much as you to play their faction of choice that's just down right arrogant and secondly you think of this like the table top game and so far you've gone and insulted everyone else for not being eldar I could just as eaisly say the eldar are bitch like this game isn't fair we are supperior to everyone why can't we insta kill them or continually rant about their supposed superiorty cause your playing a specialised force

A statement like "There is no possibility for [...] a tactical approach" is ridiculous.

Anyone who wants to win will have to be tactical. Just like in DoW II, all of the races have to use tactics to win - just different ones.

There will be PLENTY of "I am so smart and powerful because I am Eldar. I see the future and I know everything. You can't possibly defeat me. I am the epitome of arrogance. I am so f***ing ama---" *CHOP SMASH SPLAT*

Which goes to prove my point earlier - All races will require tactics.

DOW2 was just a game of "rock paper scissors" with maximum tactics being knowing where and when will enemy use some unit.

Some melt unless they do-the others can go on lollygagging because they have the plot power armour.
    Or have bodies to spare.

The point is that if applied correctly, there would be no place for tacticless gameplay for the eldar.
Just because they are exactly rock_paper_scissors_shuriken_fusion
not "rocky scissors, papery rocks and so on"
With no "fat jack of all trades" perk, Eldar rely on tactical approach much more.
They require much greater insight because their tools can be effective ONLY in particular case.
While SM and especially Orky weapons are solid all-rounders and can be used in many cases.

SM way "we kill each other, but you kill us slower"
ORky way "we kill each other, but we have moar dakka and bodies to throw in"
  6. Well I think I've figured you out your one of those hardcore gamers that wants games to be a certain way and how game must be played otherwise you throw your toys. And as far as how you described space marine and orks well you really are an arrogant guy each faction has its own classes so they are gonna have to work as teams to get anything done or are you gonna say no they just gonna charge in be tards as always blah blah blah cry cry cry we better than you in every way possible etc etc

I just say that factions are different and require different approach.
Eldar are the specialist faction. Otherwise it's not Eldar.
And being extremely specialized means being much less flexible and requiring greater recon and squad management.
Running around blindly makes you dead far faster than a SM player. Skill and team is required.

Welcome to the forums, my friend.

Assault marines, for instance, have much greater flexibility in gear and weapon availability than any Eldar close combat class.
The same applies to the rest cases.

SM problem: 12 y.o. who don't know what and how to play and don't want to.
Ork problem: HOW TO GET INTO MELEE or have enough dakka to drown the enemy.
Eldar problem: how to apply the exact tool at exact time and NOT GET KILLED BECAUSE YOU ARE FLIMSY

I agree with your last points, Warpman - I feel like Eldar have the potential to be the very best race if they do everything right - however, one mistake, done for. Eldar should be a specialist faction and I agree with all of your points. However, I think the part where you are wrong is "The other races don't require tactics" but. They DO, but maybe not to the extent of the Eldar.

But a squad of well-coordinated Eldar players will be dead hard to beat.
  9. Well you've got a rather funny way of saying it and still openly insult the other factions who's to say the sm is going to be made of 12.y.o. That don't know how to play the game and I'd actually say squad managment is going to be more important to the orks than you eldar and I'm picking up a hate for anything that's well rounded and rp but that's beside the point I'd venture the SM and CSM are going to be very specialised and to burst your little bubble there are just as many 12y.o. Trolls that like the eldar
  10. Just like a well cordinated team from any faction will be hell to beat anyway yes eldar are gonna need tactics but depending on how they pull it off you may be either a really tough faction or end up as the punching bag for everyone else just like the f2p orkz are gonna be target practice and they gonna have to rely heavily on their payed ork players to control them and keep them alive
