For the Eldars like i said they played with big matches, get finger burned, try to "protect" the universe of what they have unleash and still are more arrogant than my collegue headmaster, meeeeh.

And yeeeaaaah, it's true, Tau are kinda " the new 4 reich " they want to explore and conquer, but still the Etheral are here and man, for the greaterf fuck*ng good ! ( and Crisis Hardsuit with dual railgun and attack drone, pew pew )

But the point that realy grind my gears right now especialy in this thread is all the eldars players already crying that they are outnumbred and stuff but a simple looks on the Ork forum and you'll see what " few " means, even with pistolboy F2p by millions how we are going to compete vs Terminator, Khorn Berzerk, Scorpion/Banshee and stuff like that without alot of Nob or hardboy, or even ( my fantasm ) Nob in megarmor ( *giggle* ) ? but still on this thread people already think that we are going to "swarm" them but we aren't enough to do 10 basketball teams, meh.

You guys do understand that every "noob" that want to try this game are going to be in our factions ? it's like playing Arma 2 with CoD players, i'm going to need alot of aspirine to calm the headache, and still you cry like baby that " we are the skilled underdog ?! " no man, no, Did i tell you the definition of insanity ?

Personally I LOVE the orks but if the Ork Boys will be the F2P option, that means a lot of idiots will flood around there (no offence to the few normal people ^^). That being said, I might take the Ork race on start, since my main problem with the Eldar is they are freakin' arrogant and can be a big prick. Seriously, they can annoy the hell our of me sometimes -_-

And played as an Ork in Warhammer Online, and me Black Ork was one of the most funny and cool lookin' git around ^^ Not to forget the little gobbos runnin' around with them squigs and sparkly magik x)

Actually people here are happy that we are going to be underpopulated, since they assume that we will only have mature, dedicated and skilled players in our small numbers.

What about you guys, I am really compassionate to you orks having the least population on the forums, and yes, you will have to deal with those "smelly f2p players"... but if you orks will have big trouble, I will personally contribute to your faction by making an ork character and try to do my best for the cause of the green tide over-running everything.

With F2P orks and under-strength eldar trying to do something.

See the good side... If F2P players are so "noob" like some here think, that will pretty well reflect the anarchy side of the Orks... Depend how you see the situation, but it can be fun as a boss, to try to manage with that, seeing your "dumb" orks mate dying while you try to achieve something more relevant.
If you add to that the hazardous side of the orks technology, I think ork will be a really fun faction, if not the funnier ? (But I must admit that I'm really not up-to-date with the rules of 40k, so I dunno how hazardous their technology are)

Mate, quite sadly, Ork's last Codex is still tht 4th Ed that came out in 2007 x) Tho there is a rumor that they will get some love after the 6th Ed rules come out on the 2nd half of this year. So, technically, GW has 2 month if they want to push it out this year (which... would make countless sorry ork lovin' bastars like meself hilariously happy ^^). Its about time the orks get some lovin'

Hell, in WH40k and WH Fantasy, Orks manage to make me laugh always XD And that means a lot ya know If you played DoW2 - Retribution's Ork campaign then you know what I'm talkin' about

I'm counting on the Eldar being a little less populated. F2P is a very viable way to play most games, and many people will just play free so as to avoid paying for the game, this playerbase is no less capable and intelligent than any other, but will be more numerous, which means that obviously the scope for idiots joining the group is larger, those who play Ork Nobz will be the same as any other pay to play playerbase, just greener. Marines and Chaos will obviously be the biggest draw, as they're the cash-cow races of the Games Workshop 40k franchise.

Which leaves the Eldar. I will play Eldar almost exclusively. Firstly because when I play an MMO-type game, I pick a character or class and stick with that, and secondly because The Eldar are and have always been my favorite race in 40k.

It's impossible to answer the question of who our player base will be, and whether we'll have the advantage of skill over numbers until we are playing the game, but as long as I'm free of all the drama and ass-hattery going on in the Astartes and Chaos faction forums, I'll be content. Hope we get a good selection of Craftworlds to play as...

Too true. My biggest worry is that all the 'ooo look at all the pretty colours' muppets will end up in the Eldar faction. Without any skill to compensate.

I'm not sure why you would think those factions would attract more drama and arse-hattery than Eldar. Except purely because of numbers on each faction maybe.
